The 9-11 Commission Report

Before you begin this review of the 9/11 Commission Report I'd like to introduce myself. I believe I've earned the right to critique its findings. My name is Craig Winn. Before dawn on the morning of September 11th 2001, I was at 29,000 feet, eastbound, heading toward Washington D.C. I was flying America's best known pastor from a speaking engagement in Texas, the home of the sitting president, a man whom I had met and visited with privately the last time I was in his state. The subject of the pastor's speech was the Tribulation - a time of intense terror that the Bible predicts will be perpetrated by the religion of Islam.

So I had a unique perspective on what followed. The moment the planes hit the World Trade Center, I picked up the phone and called the pastor I had just delivered home and, knowing that he was conversant with Karl Rove and close to George W. Bush and especially his father, I asked him to arrange a meeting with the president. I even called an officer on the White House Staff, a former employee of mine, and requested an appointment through him. You see, I knew what happened and why. And just as importantly, having been in the public eye and having met this president, his compatriots and rivals, as well as the media, I knew that collectively and individually they would misconstrue the motive, and thus the underlying reason behind 9/11.

Unfortunately, those meetings did not materialize, but fortunately I did not let the truth stay hidden. I flew to ground zero for suicide bombers worldwide - Israel. And there after meetings with Knesset Members and Palestinian Authority Ministers, the Mossad and Shin Bet, I was able to broker a series of interviews with al-Qaeda, Hamas, al-Asqa Martyrs' Brigade, and Islamic Jihad. At gunpoint, deep in a bunker, I asked these terrorists why they were killing us. My questions and their answers are contained in the title chapter of my first book on Islam: Tea With Terrorists - Who They Are, Why They Kill, and What Can Be Done To Stop Them. In this book, I lay out a three point strategy to stop Islamic terror. In its pages I also predict what will happen to America if we do not heed its warning. Most of what I predicted has come true.

Upon the completion of Tea With Terrorists I began a national radio campaign designed to awaken my nation. As a result, I have appeared on over 1,000 talk radio programs and have done 1,400 hours of live, interactive interviews and publicly broadcast debates on the subject of Islam and terror. I have also established the www.ProphetOfDoom.net website for the purpose of freeing Muslims from Islam and the rest of us from the terror Islam inspires. Everything I have written on this subject is available free on the site.

My most recent book on Islam, Prophet of Doom - Islam's Terrorist Dogma in Muhammad's Own Words, is the product of 10,000 hours of study. One thousand pages long, it is the best documented, most comprehensive, contextual and chronological presentation of Islam's earliest Hadith collections and Qur'an ever written. It presents most everything known about Muhammad, his life, words, creation of Allah, the Qur'an, and the religion of Islam. Far more effectively than the 9/11 Commission Report, Prophet of Doom investigates the facts and circumstances relating to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. It reveals why they happened which is infinitely more important than how they happened.

So as America's foremost expert on the legacy of Muhammad and the direct link between Islam and terror, as the only American to have actually met with members of al-Qaeda, Hamas, al-Asqa Martyrs' Brigade and Islamic Jihad while being held at gunpoint, as the only American to have invested 10,000 hours into the study of the Islamic scriptures with the courage to report what they actually say, I believe I've earned the right to critique the 9/11 Commission Report.

You will soon discover that to their shame, the Commissioners have not done any of these things. But to their credit, their findings are markedly different than what is being reported. Sadly our media and our politicians only want to cover the portions of the report that seek to open communication channels and reshuffle responsibility. These things will not protect us. They will only rob us of our freedoms and stifle our economy. The answer to terror is hidden in the report so long as you can read between the lines and see through the smokescreen of political correctness that is paralyzing our response. In this critique, I will pierce through the veil and fill in the gaps. If you will read it and the books I have written, you will be empowered to save our nation from what will otherwise be certain doom.

Before we read the first words from the 9/11 Commission, we are told who the Commissioners are. Proudly listed under the title "Commission Staff" are the names of 25 lawyers. There is only one person listed as an investigator. That is a fairly ominous beginning for a Commission created to "investigate" the greatest act of terrorism ever perpetrated against America.

The evidence of the legal contingent's meddling becomes obvious with these words, presented in the Preface. Please notice that the legal mandate ended with the closed quote and the political agenda began following it. "Our mandate was sweeping. The law directed us to investigate "facts and circumstances relating to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001," including those relating to intelligence agencies, law enforcement agencies, diplomacy, immigration issues and border control, the flow of assets to terrorist organizations, commercial aviation, the role of congressional oversight and resource allocation, and other areas determined relevant by the Commission." While the report itself focuses on Islam, in that it was the sole cause of 9/11, all media and political responses have concentrated on political meddling. It's as if the media and our politicians believe that the American government was to blame for the barbarism. "If we just shared information better, and had more department heads, the terrorists wouldn't have killed us."

On the second page, the Preface moves from mandate to motivation. Here is how it begins: "Our aim has not been to assign individual blame. Our aim has been to provide the fullest possible account of the events surrounding 9/11 and to identify lessons learned. We learned about an enemy who is sophisticated, patient, disciplined, and lethal. The enemy rallies broad support in the Arab and Muslim world by demanding redress of political grievances, but its hostility toward us and our values is limitless. Its purpose is to rid the world of religious and political pluralism, the plebiscite, and equal rights for women. It makes no distinction between military and civilian targets. Collateral damage is not in its lexicon."

The Report's opening salvo correctly blames Islam and frames the issue. Sadly, the summary conclusion is couched in legalese and what it says hasn't been reported. So let me translate this for you: This is what we learned: The enemy is lethal and they are broadly supported in the Muslim world. That means Islam is murderous. Let that sink in while you ponder the consequence of tolerating Islam in our midst. And think about this warning in the Qur'an: "Wipe the infidels [defined as non-Muslims, Christians, and Jews] out to the last."

The Commission's report postures many conclusions, like Islam being murderous, without providing any evidence. While I do not have a staff of 80, I do not want to make the same mistake. So please consider the following verses from the Spoils of War surah: Qur'an 8.1 "They ask you about the benefits of capturing the spoils of war. Tell them: 'The benefits belong to Allah and to His Messenger.' So fulfill your duty to Allah and the Prophet." Qur'an 8.5 "Your Lord sent you from your homes to fight for the true cause." Qur'an 8.7 "Allah wished to confirm the truth by His words: ‘Wipe the infidels out to the last.'" Qur'an 8.12 "I shall terrorize the infidels. So wound their bodies and incapacitate them because they oppose Allah and His Apostle. Qur'an 8.15 "Believers, when you meet the unbelievers in battle, do not turn your back on them for any Muslim who retreats will bring the wrath of Allah on himself and will abide in Hell." Qur'an 8.72 "Those who accepted Islam and left their homes to fight in Allah's Cause with their possessions and persons, and those who gave them shelter and aided them are your allies. You are only called to protect Muslims who fight." Qur'an 8.73 "The infidels aid one another. Unless you do the same there will be anarchy in the land. Those who accepted Islam and left their homes to fight in Allah's Cause are good Muslims." Qur'an 8.57 "If you meet them in battle, inflict on them such a defeat as would be a lesson for those who come after them, that they may be warned." Qur'an 8.59 "The infidels should not think that they can get away from us. Prepare against them whatever arms and weaponry you can muster so that you may terrorize them. They are your enemy and Allah's enemy." Qur'an 8.71 "He will give you mastery over them." Qur'an 8.39 " So, fight them till all opposition ends and the only religion is Islam."

The introduction to the 9/11 Commission Report goes on to say: Muslims hate Judeo-Christian values. And that means that Islamic values are the antithesis of Biblical values. Therefore, we do not worship the same God. And that would make our president either ignorant or a liar. The Report says: Muslim hostility toward non-Muslims is limitless. These are foreboding and powerful words. They are accurate words. Based upon the evidence contained in the 8th surah, Islam is a declaration of war against all mankind.

The 9/11 Commission reports: the goal of Muslims is to rid the world of religious and political freedom, imposing the religion of Islam on everyone by terror. They will do this by attacking civilians. Muhammad said, "I have been made victorious by terror." Islam's lone prophet led 75 terrorist raids according to the Hadith, 73 or which were armed assaults against defenseless civilians. Collateral damage included murdering the men and boys, raping the women, selling the children into slavery to finance additional terrorist attacks, and stealing the victim's property - all with Allah's blessing. As verification of this conclusion, and in support to the Commission's findings, I implore you to review the documented evidence presented in Prophet of Doom - Islam's Terrorist Dogma in Muhammad's Own Words starting in the "Pedophile Pirate" chapter. It contains every Islamic scripture pertaining to the first successful terrorist raid inspired by Muhammad. The chapters that follow document each successive attack.

Islam is anti-plebiscite, the introduction claims, which means Islam is undemocratic. And that means our stated mission of establishing democracy in Iraq, or in any other Islamic country, is impossible. Therefore, we are not defending ourselves or deploying our resources in the war on terror intelligently. We have committed ourselves to a lose-lose situation in Afghanistan and Iraq while our enemy grows stronger and more resolute, making us more vulnerable.

And lastly, the panelists conclude that Islam treats women unfairly. While that has nothing to do with 9/11, and thus shouldn't be in the report, it is accurate. In his last sermon, Muhammad said: "Muslim men can beat their women and use their bodies because women are like domesticated animals." The Qur'an says that a woman's value is half that of a man's.

Translation and verification of the Report's opening salvo complete, I'd like to correct a horrendous error. The summary paragraph severely damages our ability to defend our nation against Islam by equating Muslim and Arab. The vast majority of Muslims are not Arabs. Many Arabs are not Muslims. And while that's important to know, the real enemy is the religion of Islam, not a race. Muslim clerics want Islam and Arab equated so that they can errantly label those who expose and condemn the doctrine of I slam as bigots and racists. That way they can slander those who repudiate Islam, deflecting attention away from the evidence - from the dogma itself. It's the political ploy of killing the messenger when you can't refute the message. If we allow this debate to devolve into profiling the Arab race rather than the Islamic religion, we will lose. Muslims will murder millions of us as a result.

The Commission's next sentence is devastating because it is accurate and because it is not clearly stated. "We learned that the institutions charged with protecting our borders, civil aviation, and national security did not understand how grave this threat could be, and did not adjust their policies, plans, and practices to deter or defeat it." We are ignorant of Islam. Therefore we are vulnerable to Islam. One cannot deter or defeat what one does not understand. After meeting with Islamic terrorists from al-Qaeda, I wrote Tea With Terrorists so that America would know who the terrorists are, why they kill, and what we can do to stop them. Written two years ago, that book remains more accurate, better documented, and considerably more useful than this Commission Report.

Actually "understanding the gravity of this threat, and adjusting our policies, plans and practices to deter and defeat it," would save millions of American lives, our freedoms and economy. But as a result of ignorance born of political correctness and intellectual laziness, we as a nation will never come to understand that the religion of Islam fueled by oil money is the greatest threat the civilized world has ever known. Instead, America's politicians and media will rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic. "We learned of fault lines within our government - between foreign and domestic intelligence, and between and within agencies. We learned of the pervasive problems of managing and sharing information across a large and unwieldy government that had been built in a different era to confront different dangers." And while the band plays on, the freest, most moral and prosperous nation in world history will sink into dark waters of our collective ignorance and arrogance.

Chapter 1, Page 1, Paragraph 2: "For those heading to an airport, weather conditions could not have been better for a safe and pleasant journey. Among the travelers were Mohamed Atta and Abdul Aziz al Omari, who arrived at the airport in Portland, Maine." If we were not lost as a nation, if we were honest with ourselves, this short paragraph would have been sufficient to enlighten us and protect us from harm. The first terrorist is named in honor of Islam's lone prophet Muhammad. 9/11 was his legacy. The second terrorist is named "Slave to Allah." There is but one Allah, and he was Muhammad's god - the dark spirit of Islam.

Chapter 1, Page 4, Paragraph 4: "The 19 men [all of which were good Muslims] were aboard four transcontinental flights. They were planning to hijack these planes and turn them into large guided missiles [suicide bombs], loaded with up to 11,400 gallons of jet fuel." Islam is as Islam does. Chapter 1, Page 5, Paragraph 1: "As it began, some of the hijackers - most likely Wail al Shehri and Waleed al Shehri, who were seated in row 2 in first class - stabbed the two unarmed flight attendants who would have been preparing for cabin service." Consider how perverse a religion must be to cause men to believe that slitting a woman's throat so that you can murder thousands more is a good thing to do - a service to Allah. Only when and if, America is able to confront the reality that Islam is the most corrosive, the most cancerous dogma ever perpetrated on humankind, will we be able to protect ourselves from it.

I did not know this but I found it interesting. Chapter 1, Page 5, Paragraph 3: "As this was happening, passenger Daniel Lewin, who was seated in the row just behind Atta and Omari,was stabbed by one of the hijackers - probably Satam al Suqami, who was seated directly behind Lewin. Lewin had served four years as an officer in the Israeli military. He may have made an attempt to stop the hijackers in front of him, not realizing that another was sitting behind him."

This is also fascinating because it means the terror aboard the planes began 46 minutes before it manifest itself on the ground. Chapter 1, Page 5, Paragraph 5: "About five minutes after the hijacking began, Betty Ong contacted the American Airlines Southeastern Reservations Office in Cary, North Carolina, via an AT&T airphone to report an emergency aboard the flight. This was the first of several occasions on 9/11 when flight attendants took action outside the scope of their training, which emphasized that in a hijacking, they were to communicate with the cockpit crew. The emergency call lasted approximately 25 minutes, as Ong calmly and professionally relayed information about events taking place aboard the airplane to authorities on the ground. At 8:19, Ong reported: "The cockpit is not answering, somebody's stabbed in business class - and I think there's Mace - that we can't breathe - I don't know, I think we're getting hijacked." She then told of the stabbings of the two flight attendants." There were over 3,000 innocent men, women and children murdered on 9/11, husbands, fathers, brothers and sons, wives, mothers, sisters and daughters, so it is these vignettes of two flight attendants doing their job and an Israeli being heroic, only to have their throats slashed by Muslims on a mission from hell, that provide us with the ability to peer deep into the abyss from which this hatred and horror flow. Do not let their sacrifice be in vain.

The next 42 pages the Commission Report documents how Islamic jihadists perpetrated their ghoulish deed. But since why is important and how is irrelevant, my review will catapult forward to the first page of chapter two, appropriately named: "The Foundation of the New Terrorism."

2.1 A DECLARATION OF WAR

Chapter 2, Page 47, Paragraph 1: "In February 1998, the 40-year-old Saudi exile Usama Bin Ladin and a fugitive Egyptian physician, Ayman al Zawahiri, arranged from their Afghan headquarters for an Arabic newspaper in London to publish what they termed a fatwa issued in the name of a "World Islamic Front." A fatwa is normally an interpretation of Islamic law by a respected Islamic authority..." We have returned to Islam.

The Commissioners report, Chapter 2, Page 47, Paragraph 1: "Claiming that America had declared war against God and his messenger, they called for the murder of any American, anywhere on earth, as the "individual duty for every Muslim who can do it in any country in which it is possible to do it." This sentence contains the Report's second egregious error. Osama bin Laden and Aymen al Zawahiri did not use "Ilah" the Arabic word for "God;" they used "Allah," the name of Muhammad's god. When we mistranslate Arabic we play into the terrorists' hands. "Allah" cannot be "God" if "allah" is the Arabic word for "god" because in the Qur'an Allah says that "Ilah" is the Arabic word for "God" and that "Allah" is the "Ilah's" name. If that is not true, the ilah named Allah is lying, proving that he is not what Muhammad claimed him to be. The reason this is important is because understanding that we do not worship the same God is essential to our self defense. The God of the Bible is Yahweh. The god of the Qur'an transitions from Ar-Rahman to Allah following the Satanic Verses. Yahweh is not Allah. They are opposites. And because they are opposites, Judeo-Christian values are the antithesis of Islamic values.

The remainder of the Islamic press release is not only accurate, it accurately presents Islam. According to the Qur'an and Hadith it is the duty of all Muslims to fight and kill all non-Muslims wherever they might be anywhere on earth. Consider these words from the Islamic Sira and from the Qur'an: Ishaq:587 "Our onslaught will not be a weak faltering affair. We shall fight as long as we live. We will fight until you turn to Islam, humbly seeking refuge. We will fight not caring whom we meet. We will fight whether we destroy ancient holdings or newly gotten gains. We have mutilated every opponent. We have driven them violently before us at the command of Allah and Islam. We will fight until our religion is established. And we will plunder them, for they must suffer disgrace." Qur'an 9:88 "The Messenger and those who believe with him, strive hard and fight with their wealth and lives in Allah's Cause." Qur'an 9:5 " Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war."

The Western media continues to aid and abet Islamic terrorism. In addition to not reporting the core of the Commission's findings, and omitting all references to Islam each time they cover the ongoing acts of the "insurgents," it was a London newspaper that issued the fatwa and an American television network that helped bin Laden justify it. Chapter 2, Page 47, Paragraph 2: "Three months later, when interviewed in Afghanistan by ABC-TV, Bin Ladin enlarged on these themes. He claimed it was more important for Muslims to kill Americans than to kill other infidels. "It is far better for anyone to kill a single American soldier than to squander his efforts on other activities," he said. Asked whether he approved of terrorism and of attacks on civilians, he replied: "We believe that the worst thieves in the world today and the worst terrorists are the Americans. Nothing could stop you except perhaps retaliation in kind. We do not have to differentiate between military or civilian. As far as we are concerned, they are all targets."

Muhammad shared this view. On the subject of endangering civilians, especially women and children, he said: Bukhari:V4B52N256 "The Prophet passed by and was asked whether it was permissible to attack infidels at night with the probability of exposing their women and children to danger. The Prophet replied, ‘Their women and children are from them.'" That was hauntingly similar to bin Laden's justification. And that's because, according to Muhammad, Islam was a call to war against all people, civilians included: Muslim:C9B1N33 "The Prophet said: ‘I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify there is no god but Allah, that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and they establish prostration prayer, and pay Zakat tax. If they do it, their blood and property are protected.'" Allah raves about terror, which may be why all good Muslims are terrorists. Qur'an 7:3 "Little do you remember My [Allah's] warning. How many towns have We [Allah] destroyed as a raid by night? Our punishment took them suddenly while they slept for their afternoon rest. Our terror came to them; Our punishment overtook them." Yes, you read that correctly: Allah is a terrorist and he/they doesn't/don't know if he/they is/are one or many.

But since Islam has never been able to produce a single academic achievement, a scientific breakthrough, a single technological advancement, free society, the protection of human rights, a democracy, or a prosperous economy, we are compelled to investigate the one thing it has succeeded in doing - perpetrating terror. Here is why... Ishaq:327 "Allah said, ‘A prophet must slaughter before collecting captives. A slaughtered enemy is driven from the land. Muhammad, you craved the desires of this world, its goods and the ransom captives would bring. But Allah desires killing them to manifest the religion.'" This prophet was identical to his god... Bukhari:V9B87N127 "The Prophet said, ‘I have been given the keys of eloquent speech and given victory with terror.'"

Each of the following quotes are set in the context of one of Muhammad's most abominable terrorist raids. I present them so that you might see that the terrorists have not corrupted Islam, but instead, Islam has corrupted them. Ishaq:510 "When the Apostle looked down on Khaybar he told his Companions, ‘O Allah, Lord of the Devils and what into error they throw, and Lord of the winds and what they winnow, we ask Thee for the booty of this town and its people. Forward in the name of Allah.' He used to say this of every town he raided." Bukhari:V5B59N512 "The Prophet offered the Fajr Prayer [Prayer of Fear] near Khaybar when it was still dark. He said, ‘Allahu-Akbar!' [Allah is Greatest] Khaybar is destroyed, for whenever we approach a hostile nation to fight, then evil will be the morning for those who have been warned.' Then the inhabitants came out running on their roads. The Prophet had their men killed; their children and woman were taken as captives." Ishaq:517 "Khaybar was stormed by the Apostle's squadron, fully armed, powerful and strong. It brought certain humiliation with Muslim men in its midst. We attacked and they met their doom. Muhammad conquered the Jews in fighting that day as they opened their eyes to our dust." Tabari VIII:116/Ishaq:511 "So Muhammad began seizing their herds and their property bit by bit. He conquered home by home." Bukhari:V5B59N512 "The Prophet had their men killed, their children and woman taken captive." Tabari VIII:129 "After the Messenger had finished with the Khaybar Jews, Allah cast terror into the hearts of the Jews in Fadak." While this next passage speaks of another grotesque act of Islamic terrorism, it accurately presents the Qur'an's justification of terror against women and children... Qur'an 33:26 "Allah made the Jews leave their homes by terrorizing them so that you killed some and made many captive. And He made you inherit their lands, their homes, and their wealth. He gave you a country you had not traversed before."

In that we are told by our media and politicians that terrorism is not endorsed by Islam, I beg your indulgence as we review some additional passages from the Qur'an and Hadith. Ishaq:588 "When the Apostle descends on your land none of your people will be left when he leaves." Tabari IX:42 "We have been dealt a situation from which there is no escape. You have seen what Muhammad has done. Arabs have submitted to him and we do not have the strength to fight. You know that no herd is safe from him. And no one even dares go outside for fear of being terrorized." Qur'an 59:2 "It was Allah who drove the [Jewish] People of the Book from their homes and into exile. They refused to believe and imagined that their strongholds would protect them against Allah. But Allah came at them from where they did not suspect, and filled their hearts with terror. Their homes were destroyed. So learn a lesson, O men who have eyes. This is My warning...they shall taste the torment of Fire." Qur'an 33:60 "If the Hypocrites [peaceful Muslims] stir up sedition, if the agitators in the City do not desist, We shall urge you to go against them and set you over them. Then they will not be able to stay as your neighbors. They shall have a curse on them. Whenever they are found, they shall be seized and slain without mercy - a fierce slaughter - murdered, a horrible murdering." Ishaq:576 "Allah and His servant overwhelmed every coward. Allah honored us and made our religion victorious. We were glorified and destroyed them all. Allah humiliated them in the worship of Satan. By what our Apostle recites from the Book and by our swift horses, I liked the punishment the infidels received. Killing them was sweeter than drink. We galloped among them panting for the spoil. With our loud-voiced army, the Apostle's squadron advanced into the fray." Although most Muslims do not know it, Allah is Satan. And that is why his orders and their deeds are so demonic.

Ibn Ishaq's Sira, the only collection of Islamic Hadith compiled within 200 years of Muhammad's death, says this of the first Muslims: Ishaq:580 "Our strong warriors obey his orders to the letter. By us Allah's religion is undeniably strong. You would think when our horses gallop with bits in their mouths that the sounds of demons are among them. The day we trod down the unbelievers there was no deviation or turning from the Apostle's order. During the battle the people heard our exhortations to fight and the smashing of skulls by swords that sent heads flying. We severed necks with a warrior's blow. Often we have left the slain cut to pieces and a widow crying alas over her mutilated husband. 'Tis Allah, not man we seek to please." Good is bad and bad is good. Islam is the world upside down. Satan has become God. Ishaq:300 "I am fighting in Allah's service. This is piety and a good deed. In Allah's war I do not fear as others should. For this fighting is righteous, true, and good." Qur'an 9:29 "Fight those who do not believe until they all surrender, paying the protective tax in submission." Jihad is forever. Islam is a declaration of war against all mankind.

Ishaq:325 "Muslims, fight in Allah's Cause. Stand firm and you will prosper." Qur'an 8:65 "O Prophet, urge the faithful to fight. If there are twenty among you with determination they will vanquish two hundred; if there are a hundred then they will slaughter a thousand unbelievers, for the infidels are a people devoid of understanding." More than anything, that is our problem. Ignorant of Islam, Muslims slaughter us. Nineteen murdered 3,000. Here is another reason why: Bukhari:V4B52N63 "A man whose face was covered with an iron mask came to the Prophet and said, ‘Allah's Apostle! Shall I fight or embrace Islam first?' The Prophet said, ‘Embrace Islam first and then fight.' So he embraced Islam, and was martyred. Allah's Apostle said, ‘A Little work, but a great reward.'" So is this... Bukhari:V4B53N386 "Our Prophet ordered us to fight you till you worship Allah alone or pay us the Jizyah tribute tax in submission. Our Prophet has informed us that our Lord says: ‘Whoever amongst us is killed as a martyr shall go to Paradise to lead such a luxurious life as he has never seen, and whoever survives shall become your master.'"

Muhammad, like Osama bin Laden, was fixated on a puny rock shrine for rock gods called the Ka'aba. It was Allah's home. He lived in the Black Stone wedged in one of its corners. Qur'an 2:217 "They question you concerning fighting in the sacred month. Say: ‘Fighting therein is a grave (matter); but to prevent access to Allah, to deny Him, to prevent access to the Sacred Mosque, to expel its members, and polytheism are worse than slaughter. Nor will they cease fighting you until they make you renegades from your religion. If any of you turn back and die in unbelief, your works will be lost and you will go to Hell. Surely those who believe and leave their homes to fight in Allah's Cause have the hope of Allah's mercy." Thus by definition, there are no peaceful Muslims. Allah says they must fight or go to hell.

Qur'an 2:244 "Fight in Allah's Cause, and know that Allah hears and knows all." Qur'an 2:246 "He said: ‘Would you refrain from fighting if fighting were prescribed for you?' They said: ‘How could we refuse to fight in Allah's Cause?'" Qur'an 9:38 "Believers, what is the matter with you, that when you are asked to go forth and fight in Allah's Cause you cling to the earth? Do you prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? Unless you go forth, He will afflict and punish you with a painful doom and put others in your place."

Qur'an 9:123 "Fight the unbelievers around you, and let them find harshness in you." Qur'an 8:72 "Those who accepted Islam and left their homes to fight in Allah's Cause with their possessions and persons, and those who gave (them) asylum, aid, and shelter, those who harbored them - these are allies of one another. You are not responsible for protecting those who embraced Islam but did not leave their homes to fight until they do so." There are 1,000 more of these posted in the "Muhammad's Own Words" Appendix of Prophet of Doom under the headings: Fighting, Terror, War, Jihad, Martyrdom, Murder, and Torture. Similar verses can be found under: Peaceful Muslim Hypocrites, Intolerance, Christians, and Jews.

At this point it should be rather obvious that Osama bin Laden's press release was presenting and promoting Islam accurately. Muslims have been ordered to murder infidels. And they have done this very thing on multiple occasions. Unfortunately, because we are ignorant of Islam, the 9/11 Commission Report calls his proclamations "novel"... Chapter 2, Page 48, Paragraph 1: "Though novel for its open endorsement of indiscriminate killing, Bin Ladin's 1998 declaration was only the latest in the long series of his public and private calls since 1992 that singled out the United States for attack.

In August 1996, Bin Ladin had issued his own self-styled fatwa calling on Muslims to drive American soldiers out of Saudi Arabia. The long, disjointed document condemned the Saudi monarchy for allowing the presence of an army of infidels in a land with the sites most sacred to Islam, and celebrated recent suicide bombings of American military facilities in the Kingdom. It praised the 1983 suicide bombing in Beirut that killed 241 U.S. Marines, the 1992 bombing in Aden, and especially the 1993 firefight in Somalia after which the United States "left the area carrying disappointment, humiliation, defeat and your dead with you."

Most American's are unaware of the fact that President G.W. Bush complied with bin Laden's request. All American soldiers and planes have been removed from Saudi Arabia. We gave him what he wanted.

In Mein Kampf, Adolf Hitler announced to the world precisely what he was going to do, how he was going to do it, and why 15 years before the start of the war. But because we were willfully ignorant of Hitler's book, 55 million people died needlessly. We are making the same mistake with Muhammad's book. Terror is his legacy. Chapter 2, Page 48, Paragraph 3: "Bin Ladin said in his ABC interview that he and his followers had been preparing in Somalia for another long struggle, like that against the Soviets in Afghanistan, but "the United States rushed out of Somalia in shame and disgrace." Citing the Soviet army's withdrawal from Afghanistan as proof that a ragged army of dedicated Muslims could overcome a superpower, he told the interviewer: "We are certain that we shall - with the grace of Allah - prevail over the Americans." He went on to warn that "If the present injustice continues . . . , it will inevitably move the battle to American soil."

The most important words in the entire 9/11 Commission Report are these. They are found in Chapter 2, Page 48, Paragraph 4: "Plans to attack the United States were developed with unwavering singlemindedness throughout the 1990s. Bin Ladin saw himself as called "to follow in the footsteps of the Messenger and to communicate his message to all nations," and to serve as the rallying point and organizer of a new kind of war to destroy America and bring the world to Islam." All Islamic terrorists are following in the footsteps of Muhammad. They know their prophet was a terrorist. They are proud of it. They confess to it. We just haven't been listening. It just doesn't get any more obvious than this.

2.2 BIN LADIN'S APPEAL IN THE ISLAMIC WORLD

Chapter 2, Page 48, Paragraph 5: "It is the story of eccentric and violent ideas sprouting in the fertile ground of political and social turmoil. It is the story of an organization poised to seize its historical moment." By using the word "eccentric," the Commission is suggesting that al-Qaeda's "violent ideas" are "unconventional" when in fact, they are conventional Islam - the Islam of Muhammad. While his "violent ideas" are peculiar to our way of thinking they are in harmony with the mentality of Islam's prophet and god.

Here is some additional proof that fundamental Islam is made up of violent ideas... Tabari IX:69 "Arabs are the most noble people in lineage, the most prominent, and the best in deeds. We were the first to respond to the call of the Prophet. We are Allah's helpers and the viziers of His Messenger. We fight people until they believe in Allah. He who believes in Allah and His Messenger has protected his life and possessions from us. As for one who disbelieves, we will fight him forever in the Cause of Allah. Killing him is a small matter to us." Qur'an 48:16 "Say (Muhammad) to the wandering desert Arabs who lagged behind: ‘You shall be invited to fight against a people given to war with mighty prowess. You shall fight them until they surrender and submit. If you obey, Allah will grant you a reward, but if you turn back, as you did before, He will punish you with a grievous torture." Qur'an 48:22 "If the unbelieving infidels fight against you, they will retreat. (Such has been) the practice (approved) of Allah in the past: no change will you find in the ways of Allah." Qur'an 47:4 "When you clash with the unbelieving Infidels in battle (fighting Jihad in Allah's Cause), smite their necks until you overpower them, killing and wounding many of them. At length, when you have thoroughly subdued them, bind them firmly, making (them) captives. Thereafter either generosity or ransom (them based upon what benefits Islam) until the war lays down its burdens. Thus are you commanded by Allah to continue carrying out Jihad against the unbelieving infidels until they submit to Islam." Qur'an 47:31 "And We shall try you until We know those among you who are the fighters." Tabari VI:138 "Those present at the oath of Aqabah had sworn an allegiance to Muhammad. It was a pledge of war against all men. Allah had permitted fighting." Tabari VI:139 "Allah had given his Messenger permission to fight by revealing the verse ‘And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is all for Allah.'"

Chapter 2, Page 48, Paragraph 5: "How did Bin Ladin - with his call for the indiscriminate killing of Americans - win thousands of followers and some degree of approval from millions more?" the Commission intelligently asks but only indirectly answers, at least initially... "The history, culture, and body of beliefs from which Bin Ladin has shaped and spread his message are largely unknown to many Americans. Seizing on symbols of Islam's past greatness, he promises to restore pride to people who consider themselves the victims of successive foreign masters. He uses cultural and religious allusions to the holy Qur'an and some of its interpreters. He appeals to people disoriented by cyclonic change as they confront modernity and globalization. His rhetoric selectively draws from multiple sources - Islam, history, and the region's political and economic malaise. He also stresses grievances against the United States widely shared in the Muslim world. He inveighed against the presence of U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia, the home of Islam's holiest sites. He spoke of the suffering of the Iraqi people as a result of sanctions imposed after the Gulf War, and he protested U.S. support of Israel."

It saddens me to see the Commission come so close and yet as a result of lawyering and ignorance, miss the mark. So as not to waste your time, I will be more forthright. First, let's examine "the history." For the first 3,100 years of recorded history, from 2500 B.C.E. to 600 C.E., there isn't a single document to be found anywhere that shows Arabs leaving Arabia to conquer, plunder, or terrorize anyone. Then everything changes. Muhammad claims that his Qur'an is inspired, and that Allah told him to conquer the world. In the first 10 years of the Islamic Era, Muhammad perpetrates 75 brutal terrorist raids, conquering, plundering, brutalizing and terrorizing everyone within a camel ride of Medina. In the first 10 years after his death, the first Muslims conquered all Arabs, stealing their freedoms and fortunes in the War of Compulsion. Then they attacked, conquered, and plundered Yemen, Christian Syria, today's Israel, Christian Egypt, Persia, and much of the Christian Byzantine world. But these murderous marauders did not stop there. By the time the first century of the Islamic Era had come to a close, Muslims following Muhammad's orders and example, cut a river of blood from Spain to India. That is the history of Islam. That is what Islam did to the world. And nothing has changed.

Next, let's examine Islamic "culture." The most exhaustive and scientific examination of uncivilized behavior was conducted by James DeMeo. His findings were published in Saharasia - The Origins of Child Abuse, Sex-Repression, Warfare, and Social Violence. By geographically itemizing every account of uncivilized behavior between 1840 and 1960, DeMeo created a World Behavior Map. It paints the regions where horrid behaviors are the most prevalent in black and moderately prevalent in gray. The result is a map of Islam. It is darkest in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, the Russian Islamic Republics, Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt, the Sudan, Somalia, Libya, Algeria, and Morocco. In gray we find all of Indonesia, the Islamic areas of Spain, and Central Africa. In his second plate, by dating acts of violence, James DeMeo shows the Path of Diffusion of uncivil behavior. It all flows from Central Arabia - the land of Muhammad. So when Muslims say that the West is decadent, and that we deserve their terror, hypocrisy oozes out of their every word.

The science of data collection aside, consider these harsh realities. Of the 50 least free, least productive, least enlightened places to live on earth, 49 are Islamic nations. There has never been a stable Islamic democracy. There has never been a prosperous Islamic economy. Not one in 1,400 years. Islam has never tolerated free speech or freedom of religion. There isn't a single Islamic university listed among the world's top learning centers. The only scholastic, scientific or medical advances Muslims claim credit for were the work of others 1,300 years ago while Christians, Jews, and Hindus endured living in Islamic captivity. There isn't a single product manufactured in the Islamic world that sells successfully on world markets. No one. So there is obviously something about Islam that promotes tyranny and terror while preventing freedom and prosperity. Islamic culture is clearly a cancer.

And that takes us to "the body of beliefs." What is it that Muslims believe that causes their history to be so violent and their culture to be so uncivil? Could it be Islam, perhaps? Or are we precluded from speaking the truth because truth isn't politically correct? The 9/11 Commissioners were unwilling to share the truth. They didn't dedicate a single page of their report to presenting so much as a single verse from the Islamic Hadith or Qur'an. So left up to them, all you would know about the Islamic "body of beliefs" is a page of half-accurate and completely unsubstantiated opinions about what makes up the dogma of terror. If you want evidence, documentation, and truth, you'll have to read Prophet of Doom. It is the most comprehensive, best documented chronological and contextual presentation of Muhammad's words and deeds as he created Allah and Islam.

So when the Commissioners said, "The history, culture, and body of beliefs from which Bin Ladin has shaped and spread his message are largely unknown to many Americans," they included themselves. And that indeed, is the core of our problem.

Ignorance of history is what caused them to errantly write "Seizing on symbols of Islam's past greatness, he promises to restore pride to people who consider themselves the victims of successive foreign masters." From beginning to end, this is the antithesis of truth. Islam was not "great" in the past unless you see barbarians as the epitome of goodness. And by way of sword and bloody conquest, Muslims were the "foreign masters." They were victimizers, not victims. Since lawyers can read, why did they publish such nonsense?

It is certain that neither Commission Staff Members nor it's lone Investigator, investigated the Islamic scriptures or they would have known tha t Osama bin Laden's statements were not "illusions" or "interpretations" of the Qur'an. They are quotes directly from the Qur'an. And if they had studied the Qur'an they would have known that the source of Islamic "disorientation" isn't "cyclonic change" or a "confrontation of modernity," nor even "globalization." Muslims are disoriented because Islam turns truth upside down. Satan is god. Bad is good. Lies are true. Paradise is hell.

One of the many reasons America's future is so dim is that we have been fooled into lashing out at symptoms and blaming people, rather than doctrines. Omar of t he Taliban, Osama of al-Qaeda, Saddam of Iraq, Hassan of the Sudan, Aideed of Somalia, Yassar of the PLO, the Ayatollah of Iran, are all evil men as are the founders of Hezbollah, Hamas, al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, the Muslim Brotherhood, Ansar al Islam, Moro Islamic Liberation Front, the Abu Sayyaf Brigade, and Jemaah Islamiya. But all of these men and organizations have something in common. They all read the same scriptures and follow in the footsteps of the same prophet. The problem is Islam. All of these men and every member of these Islamic religious organizations is a Muslim. But focusing on a symptom, rather than the disease, the Commission reports: "His [OBL's] rhetoric selectively draws from multiple sources - Islam, history, and the region's political and economic malaise."

And as a result of personalizing terror, we state excuses as if they were causes. Islamic terrorist's will pepper their proclamations with these allegations but we need to be wise enough to see through them and to the actual cause. "He also stresses grievances against the United States widely shared in the Muslim world. He inveighed against the presence of U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia, the home of Islam's holiest sites. He spoke of the suffering of the Iraqi people as a result of sanctions imposed after the Gulf War, and he protested U.S. support of Israel." We pulled our troops out of Saudi Arabia and closed our bases, but that had no bearing on terror so that must have been an excuse rather than a motivation. We removed the sanctions against Iraq and showered the nation with one hundred billion dollars of American aid and yet that accelerated Islamic terror. So once again, we are looking at an excuse, not a reason. Moreover, OBL himself, pleaded with the Fahd warlords to allow him to muster Islamic Jihadists to attack Iraq after the Kuwait invasion, so the Report is obviously reporting puffery and rhetoric, not truth. And that does not change when it turns to Israel. America has all but abandoned Israel in favor of courting favor with oil rich Muslims. We have announced a "Roadmap to Peace" that requires Israel to give much of its nation to the Islamic terrorists. And the U.S. is much more generous in providing aid and arms to Israel's enemies than it is to Israel. So why do we aid and abet terror by parroting their deceptions? Why don't we have the will and wisdom to blame Islam?

Speaking of Islam, that is how the next section of the 9/11 Commission Report begins. There is no heading for Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, even Communism or Fascism. But there is one for Islam because Islam was obviously the source of the terror America endured on September 11th, 2001. It was just as obvious for the sailors aboard our ships in Pearl Harbor as they looked up on the morning of December 7th, 1941. Since all of the planes had rising suns emblazoned on their wings, it was clear that the enemy was Imperial Japan. Each of the 9/11 bombers wore insignias too. Beyond a crescent moon, their insignias were incorporated into their names - Muhammad and Abdallah. They even confessed to the crime as the screamed "Allahu Akbar," turning civilian-laden planes into bombs on behalf of the prophet and his god. So if the Commission were to have gotten this one section right - Islam - we could have used their Report to save America. But alas, it is not to be.

Chapter 2, Page 49, Paragraph 1: Islam

It begins with two truths mixed with many lies. "Islam (a word that literally means "surrender to the will of God") arose in Arabia with what Muslims believe are a series of revelations to the Prophet Mohammed from the one and only God, the God of Abraham and of Jesus." Islam literally means surrender. That is all Islam means. The rest is interpreted, but absolutely not literal. Allah is not the Arabic word for "God," and a name should never be translated. So the parenthetical is mostly inaccurate. And interestingly, there is no actual evidence that Islam "arose in Arabia." The earliest Qur'an fragments and every Hadith, without exception, were written in Baghdad, Iraq. The evidence is reported in the "Islam's Dark Past" Appendix to Prophet of Doom.

Please recognize that Muslims are trying to kill us, they have killed us, and they will kill us again. Under these circumstances it is essential that what we report about Islam is precisely accurate and copiously documented. The Qur'an is a declaration of war; the Hadith is a terrorist manifesto. If we remain ignorant of what these scriptures actually say, if we do not expose and repudiate them, millions of Americans will die. So when I critique something that might appear to be of little consequence, keep in mind the ultimate consequence of misinterpreting and miscommunicating the teachings of Islam.

When one reviews the Islamic scriptures it becomes obvious that the catalyst for Islam was not "a series of revelations to the prophet Muhammad," but instead a decision on Muhammad's part to become a pirate and slave trader. And there wasn't "one and only God." The Qur'an opens with a nameless Lord, as if speaking of Baal, the Canaanite and Chaldean sun god before migrating to Ar-Rahman - a Yemeni moon idol named after the Persian Devil. As a result of the Quraysh Bargain and Satanic Verses, Muhammad increased Islamic pantheon to include the goddesses Manat, al-Uzza, and al-Lat, switching from Ar-Rahman to Allah. Yahweh, "the God of Abraham" was never mentioned. Further, the Qur'an's "Isa" bears no resemblance to the Bible's Yahshua, the Messiah, the Deity we errantly call "Jesus." Lastly, Yahshua did not have a God. He is God.

The Commission's rather poor start doesn't get any better. Chapter 2, Page 49, Paragraph 1: "These revelations, conveyed by the angel Gabriel, are recorded in the Qur'an. Muslims believe that these revelations, given to the greatest and last of a chain of prophets stretching from Abraham through Jesus, complete God's message to humanity." While Muhammad claimed that the Qur'an was a revelation, when it is read in the context of its revealer's life and reorganized chronologically, it becomes clear that Muhammad was just making his recitals up to justify his personal cravings for sex, power and money. And while that might sound outrageous, I dare any rational person to read Prophet of Doom from the "With Whom Am I Speaking?" chapter through the "Jihad" chapter in which the Qur'an is set into the context provided by the Hadith and arranged chronologically and come to any other conclusion.

At this point, the Commissioners are not operating under the pretext of "what Muslims believe" so we must assume they believe these errant conclusions to be factual. So why is it then that the Qur'an doesn't mention "Gabriel" as the source of the revelations until 91 of the 114 surahs have been recited? And why is it that Gabriel is unknown to Muhammad, and thus to Allah, and the Qur'an in Mecca where there are no Jews but then gets introduced in the first surah "revealed" in a city - Yathrib - which was dominated by Jews? Those conundrums bring us to that which they claim is "recorded in the Qur'an." If this were true, why is there no evidence? There isn't a single manuscript, fragment, letter, note, or even stone carving in or near Central Arabia within a century of the initial alleged revelation? The only written accounts of the "recording" were written in Baghdad 200 to 300 years after the event and they are all contradictory.

Before we move on, I am compelled to convey to you that there is an egregious omission in the 9/11 Commission Report. After identifying Islam and its holy book, the panel didn't quote a single verse from it. The Qur'an's Medina surahs contain a declaration of war. They define jihad as holy fighting in Allah's cause. They glorify terror. They order Muslims to fight and kill Christians and Jews - to lie in wait for them, to besiege them, to attack them using all stratagems of war, to murder them using every weapon at their command, to capture them, hold them for ransom, decapitate them, mutilate them, and to wipe them out to the last. And yet from this reservoir of hate and violence the Commission didn't bother to quote a single line. They list the book that justifies Islamic terrorism but they don't hold it accountable. They te ll us the seat number Muhammad Atta sat in, but they won't quote the verse number that caused him to be there. It is little wonder we were so vulnerable and continue to be!

What follows is now couched under the "Muslims believe..." umbrella so the Commission is no longer endorsing foolishness, but they are still disseminating it, "these revelations, given to the greatest and last of a chain of prophets stretching from Abraham through Jesus, complete God's message to humanity." First, according to the Hadith, Muhammad was only "great" at perpetrating terror. His religious revelations are laughable, contradictory, immoral, criminal, ignorant, and errant. Second, there is no evidence whatsoever that Muhammad or his message were part of "a chain of prophets stretching from Abraham through Jesus." In fact, the opposite is true. The Qur'an and Hadith claim, without evidence, that Adam was the first Muslim prophet, followed by Noah and others. These Islamic accounts are crude, childish, and contradictory. According to the Bible, Adam, Noah and Abraham weren't prophets. Two were cited as examples and one was a patriarch. Further, each of the Hebrew patriarchs, prophets, and wise men who contributed to the Scriptures spoke for Yahweh, not Allah, and their message was the opposite of Muhammad's message. And that is why the following words are so obviously false: "complete God's message to humanity." Not only are the "God's" different - Yahweh verses Allah - most every aspect of their teachings are polar opposites. For Muhammad's Qur'an to "complete" Yahweh's Scriptures, most every word on every page would have to be changed. Ignorance of this reality will be our undoing. So the Commissioner's by disseminating this error as if the Islamic claims were plausible, historically and rationally possible, have played right into the hands of our enemy giving them an unwarranted legitimacy.

Chapter 2, Page 49, Paragraph 1: "The Hadith, which recount Mohammed's sayings and deeds as recorded by his contemporaries, are another fundamental source." Considering the fact that there were 80 staffers on this Commission, they ought to have been able to do better than this. The Hadith is the terrorist's manifesto. The Hadith is as central to the mass murders of 9/11 as Mein Kampf was central to the barbarism of the Auschwitz death camps. The Hadith collections are the sole sources of information on the teachings of Muhammad and of his grotesque acts of mass murder, barbarism, plunder, piracy, and terror. The Qur'an is little more than Muhammad's lame attempt at justifying his criminal and immoral behaviors. When OBL says that he is "following in the messenger's footsteps," he is telling us that the Hadith is his source of inspiration.

There are four collections of Hadith that define fundamental Islam. They were not "recorded by Muhammad's contemporaries" because, like their prophet, they were illiterate. Hadith, like all Qur'an surahs, are oral reports. They were retained only as hearsay, passed from father to son over the chasm of four to ten generations depending upon if the oral report was alleged to be a Qur'an recital or a biographical or legal Hadith. While the Commissioners will errantly proclaim that the Hadith are the second of three "fundamental sources" of Islam, in actuality, Hadith and Qur'an make up all of Islam. Everything else is either a derivative or an unsubstantiated opinion.

The only collection of Hadith complied within 200 years of Muhammad's death is Ibn Ishaq's Sirat Rasul Allah, called the Sira, or Biography. Without this Sira, Islam would not exist as virtually nothing would be known about Muhammad or his formation of Islam. That means there would be no Islamic terrorists.

I would like you to consider what Islamic scholar Dr. D.S. Margoliouth had to say about the depiction of Muhammad in Ishaq's Sira - the earliest and most authentic scriptural presentation of the man the terrorists claim to follow. If you know as little about Islam as do the 9/11 Commissioners, Margoliouth's summation will seem shocking. But if you have the will and wisdom to actually investigate Islam's earliest writings, these words will appear tame: "The character attributed to Muhammad in the biography of Ibn Ishaq is exceedingly unfavorable. In order to gain his ends Muhammad recoils from no expedient, and he approves of similar unscrupulousness on the part of his adherents, when exercised in his interest. He organizes assassinations and wholesale massacres. His career as the tyrant of Medina is that of a robber chief whose political economy consists of securing and dividing plunder. He is himself an unbridled libertine [morally or sexually unrestrained] and encourages the same passion in his followers. For whatever he does he is prepared to plead the express authorization of his deity. It is, however, impossible to find any Islamic religious doctrine which he is not prepared to abandon in order to secure a political end. At different points in his career he abandons the unity of God and his claim to the title of Prophet. This is a disagreeable picture for the founder of a religion, and it cannot be pleaded that it is a picture drawn by an enemy."

It is a crime that the 9/11 Commission's Investigator didn't go to the library and check out a copy of the Sira. Translated into English by Alfred Guillaume and published by Oxford Press in 1955 under the title The Life of Muhammad, Ishaq's Sira reveals that Muhammad admitted at the outset of his "revelations" that he was "demon possessed." He said he was "suicidal." The Sira confirms that Muhammad created Islam for sex, power, and money. The Hadith contained therein document the Satanic Verses and the Pledge of Aqaba - a declaration of war on all mankind. Ishaq's collection confirms that Muhammad was a pedophile, that he engaged in incest, that he was a rapist. The Sira paints a vivid portrayal of Muhammad's 75 terrorist raids and his genocide rage against Jews.

If the Sira is accurate, Muhammad was the most evil man whoever lived - infinitely more sinister and lethal than his modern protégé Osama bin Laden. If the Sira is not true, Islam evaporates, because Muhammad - the sole source of the Qur'an and Islam's lone prophet - is completely unknown to history. Muhammad was the only person whoever claimed to hear Allah's revelations, so if he is either unknown or known to be scum, there is nothing left to believe - and thus nothing to kill for.

The other early narrative and chronological Hadith collection was compiled in the History of al-Tabari, called the Ta'rikh. Tabari is Islam's oldest and most highly regarded scholar. He wrote the first Qur'an commentary. His History of al-Tabari presents each of Muhammad's creation accounts, his perversion of the Hebrew patriarchs, as well as how Muhammad used Qusayy's religious scam to "create" Islam - as well as why he said and did these things. The Ta'rikh details Muhammad's life in Mecca, and thus the milieu in which the Qur'an's first 90 surahs were recited. But it is Tabari's Hadith account of Muhammad's murderous rage in Medina that is pertinent to the story of 9/11. This too, was available to the Commission. Each of Tabari's volumes of Hadith were translated into English from 1987 through 1997, and published under the title The History of al-Tabari by the Sate University of New York Press. Minutes from the rubble, had they bothered to look, the Commissioners would have discovered the source of the madness that caused the massacre.

There are two additional compilations of Hadith. However, they are not as useful because they were assorted by topic rather than by chronology or context. But that does not mean that the Commissioners would have found Bukhari's and Muslim's Hadith to be without merit. Both collections have books dedicated to Hadith on Jihad and on the prophet's raids. These four books form the basis of Prophet of Doom because I used them to give the Qur'an the context it lacks and to rearrange its surahs in the order Muhammad recited them. In this context it becomes clear why 9/11 occurred and what must be done if we want to prevent what will surely be a much more devastating attack in the future.

So you have a choice. You can read Prophet of Doom and save America. Or you can sit back and allow Muslims to burn New York and Washington D.C. with nuclear bombs, because they will if you do. You can allow your media to deceive you and your politicians to mislead you. You can allow them to squander your money in the sands of Iraq and spill your children's blood in its streets, lamely lashing out at symptoms. The choice is yours. Make a wise one. Everything you hold dear is riding on it.

When we are ignorant, and do not think, we report things like this...Chapter 2, Page 49, Paragraph 1: "A third key element is the Sharia, the code of law derived from the Qur'an and the Hadith." First, since Islamic law, called Sharia, is "derived from the Qur'an and Hadith," Islam has two "key elements" not three. Second, why mention Sharia if you are not going to explain it? And third, while Sharia is a key component of Islamic oppression, Sharia has nothing to do with Islamic terror.

Chapter 2, Page 49, Paragraph 2: "Islam is divided into two main branches, Sunni and Shia." This statement is only partially accurate because 90% of Muslims are Sunni, giving Islam only one "main branch," not "two." Furthermore, the division is immaterial to 9/11. Each of the 19 Islamic suicide bombers was a Sunni Muslim. What I find troublesome is that after listing the source of Islamic terror - the Hadith - and the justification for Islamic Jihad - the Qur'an - the Commissioners revealed nothing of their content. Yet when it comes to something irrelevant to Islamic terror, they go to great lengths to explain it. "Soon after the Prophet's death, the question of choosing a new leader, or caliph, for the Muslim community, or Ummah, arose. Initially, his successors could be drawn from the Prophet's contemporaries, but with time, this was no longer possible. Those who became the Shia held that any leader of the Ummah must be a direct descendant of the Prophet; those who became the Sunni argued that lineal descent was not required if the candidate met other standards of faith and knowledge. After bloody struggles, the Sunni became (and remain) the majority sect. (The Shia are dominant in Iran.) The Caliphate - the institutionalized leadership of the Ummah - thus was a Sunni institution that continued until 1924, first under Arab and eventually under Ottoman Turkish control."

This explanation of what caused the division is erroneous. It began just as Islam began - as a fight over money and power. Two men desired the spoils, slaves, and land Muhammad had stolen. Muhammad's best friend, Abu Bakr, the father of his child wife, must have craved the ill-gotten gains more than Muhammad's adopted son, cousin, and son-in-law, Ali, because he prevailed. This bitter feud lingered, however, creating the Sunni-Shia rift that endures today. And actually, the only thing that is pertinent about this division is how it effected the location of the Islamic center of power - something the Commissioners failed to address.

During Islam's crusade century, its first 100 years - there was no religion, no Qur'an or Hadith - only war. While there are countless documents from the Caliph's of Damascus, not a single one of them contains a Qur'an verse or Hadith passage. These 8th century manuscripts recount conquests, power, and plunder. At the beginning of Islam's second century, the Sunni-Shia rift led to the barbarian capital moving east to Baghdad. Over the next two hundred years the first Qur'ans were written and the entire collection of Hadith are compiled.

The Caliphate, or center of Islamic power, was thus Syrian, Persian, and then Turk. Islamic power did not return to Arabia until after the Fahd warlords of Saudi Arabian fame, were bribed by the English to fight their Muslim brothers, the Ottoman Turks, during the First World War. Their reward was a fiefdom - under which oil was discovered. And it is this mix of oil and Islam - the black ooze of death and the dark religion of death - that have united to fuel Islamic terror. 9/11 is a direct result of this union. While there is no Caliphate, money is power. The Saudi Fahd Warlords have used the $400 billion we send them each and every day to manufacture the terrorists who kill us. They use their ill-gotten gain to tyrannize their own people, just as Muhammad once did, creating a living hell on earth. In that environment they can control and indoctrinate by way of mosque, madras, and media - manufacturing the mindset of the mass murderers who flew the suicide missions of 9/11. Cut off the money and there will be no tyranny. Without tyranny, there will be no indoctrination and thus no terror. There is a lesson to be learned from history, but you have to know where to look.

Chapter 2, Page 50, Paragraph 2: "Many Muslims look back at the century after the revelations to the Prophet Mohammed as a golden age. Its memory is strongest among the Arabs. What happened then - the spread of Islam from the Arabian Peninsula throughout the Middle East, North Africa, and even into Europe within less than a century - seemed, and seems, miraculous. Nostalgia for Islam's past glory remains a powerful force." With 80 paid staffers on the 9/11 Commission, and with the lives of so many Americans at stake, it is a wonder they are so consistently wrong. The "golden age" of Islam was its second century not its first. And this is not a simple or irrelevant mistake. "The century after the revelations to the Prophet Muhammad" - all of it - was dominated by war. Muslims streamed out of Arabia wielding swords and spears to conquer new lands in pursuit of plunder. They were more savage than Attila the Hun, more ruthless than Ghingis Khan. During this time, there was no religion of Islam as we know it today - there were no Qur'ans, no Hadith. The first Muslims' behaviors mirrored their prophet's only because they knew their prophet. Personal experience and word of mouth enabled them to "follow in the messenger's footsteps."

To call a barbarian and his sword "miraculous," and a reign of terror "nostalgic and glorious," is perverse beyond words. If these are good things, we owe Hitler an apology.

Chapter 2, Page 50, Paragraph 3: "Islam is both a faith and a code of conduct for all aspects of life. For many Muslims, a good government would be one guided by the moral principles of their faith. This does not necessarily translate into a desire for clerical rule and the abolition of a secular state. It does mean that some Muslims tend to be uncomfortable with distinctions between religion and state, though Muslim rulers throughout history have readily separated the two." Islam is devoid of moral principals. Their mandated prayer is a ritual and the zakat or alms is a tax. There is nothing moral about recognizing that there is one God, especially when the spirit selected was modeled after Satan. Muhammad, the example Muslims are ordered to emulate in the Qur'an's 33rd surah, was the most immoral man whoever lived. The morality of those who follow his example reflec t a life punctuated with acts of sexual perversity, criminal activity, racial bigotry, purposeful deception and terror.

It is true, however, that Islam is "poligious." That is to say it mixes religion and politics to control and fleece. But it matters not what "many Muslims" want, because in every society infected with a ruthless and terroristic dogma like Islam, the empowered dictate the rules. Therefore, all that matters is that "some Muslims tend to be uncomfortable with distinctions between religion and state." Intolerant of such notions, they will murder their own people until everyone cowers in submission. Hitler and Lenin were masters of this strategy. The final line, "Muslim rulers throughout history have readily separated the two," is inaccurate. Whether one investigates the present collection of Islamic states or peers back through history, they would be hard pressed to find a significant number of examples of Muslim nations that enjoyed religious freedom or the separation of mosque and state.

Chapter 2, Page 50, Paragraph 4: "To extremists, however, such divisions, as well as the existence of parliaments and legislation, only prove these rulers to be false Muslims usurping God's authority over all aspects of life. Periodically, the Islamic world has seen surges of what, for want of a better term, is often labeled "fundamentalism." The open line of this salvo is erroneous, as the Commissioners themselves confess at its conclusion. The terrorists who demand pure Islamic states are not "extremists," they are fundamentalists. Understand this, and you will comprehend the nature of our problem. It is true, however, that the "existence of parliaments and secular legislation, proves" that such "rulers are false Muslims." The Islamic Scriptures are intolerant of these things. It is why there will never be a free and democratic Iraq.

"The Islamic world" has always been and remains "fundamentalist." Unlike the Roman Catholic Church's influence on Christianity in which Constantine actually created the religion of Christianity r emoving it from the relationship prescribed in the Scriptures, and whereby popes maintained his creation and thus control by preventing people from reading these Scriptures, the Qur'an and Hadith have been available to Muslims for a thousand years. It was only when John Wycliffe translated the Bible into a commonly spoken European language and distributed copies to non-clerics, that the Reformation was possible, retuning Christianity back to its relationship roots - thus making it more fundamentalist. There can be no reformation in Islam because the religion of Muhammad has not been perverted or corrupted. And that's the essence of the problem.

The religion as it was lived and taught by Muhammad was immoral, criminal, and vicious. It was equal parts deceptive, destructive, and deadly. It remains so today. Nothing has changed. Fundamentalist Muslims are still terrorists. They have not corrupted their religion, Islam has corrupted them.

Chapter 2, Page 50, Paragraph 4: "Denouncing waywardness among the faithful, some clerics have appealed for a return to observance of the literal teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith. One scholar from the fourteenth century from whom Bin Ladin selectively quotes, Ibn Taimiyyah, condemned both corrupt rulers and the clerics who failed to criticize them. He urged Muslims to read the Qur'an and the Hadith for themselves, not to depend solely on learned interpreters like himself but to hold one another to account for the quality of their observance." This is beautifully written and precisely accurate. But Taimiyyah is meaningless. All good fundamentalist Muslims "condemn both corrupt rulers and the clerics who fail to criticize them. They urge Muslims to read the Qur'an and the Hadith for themselves, not to depend solely on learned interpreters and to hold one another to account for the quality of their observance." That is our problem. It cannot be stated any more clearly. Good Muslims are terrorists because they read and observe the Qur'an and Hadith.

Knowing this, you would have thought that the 9/11 Commission would have reported what these books have to say about terror. But they didn't. For that, you will have to read Prophet of Doom. And what you will discover is that since Muhammad was unable to give his followers a reason to live, he gave them a reason to die.

Chapter 2, Page 50, Paragraph 5: "The extreme Islamist version of history blames the decline from Islam's golden age on the rulers and people who turned away from the true path of their religion, thereby leaving Islam vulnerable to encroaching foreign powers eager to steal their land, wealth, and even their souls." This comment concludes the Commission's review of the religion of Islam. It ends as it began - erroneously. This is not the "extreme Islamic version" of the religion or of its history, but is instead the foundation of the religion and the reason for its bloody history. It is the very essence or Islam. This view is the only version of Islam because it is what Muhammad taught.

Perhaps another quote would be appropriate at this time. You will find these words emblazoned in the Nobel Qur'an, in the second surah following the Qur'an's first mention of Jihad. The same passage serves as a preamble to Bukhari's Book of Jihad. It encapsulates Muhammad's teachings. "Jihad is holy fighting in Allah's Cause with full force of numbers and weaponry. It is given the utmost importance in Islam and is one of its pillars. By Jihad, Islam is established, Allah's Word is made superior (which means only Allah has the right to be worshiped), and Islam is propagated. By abandoning Jihad, Islam is destroyed and Muslims fall into an inferior position; their honor is lost, their lands are stolen, their rule and authority vanish. Jihad is an obligatory duty in Islam on every Muslim. He who tries to escape from this duty, dies with one of the qualities of a hypocrite." Chilling isn't it?
