Lurking Behind the Most Horrid Terrorist Acts...

A review of Craig Winn's Prophet of Doom by Bob Unger, Esquire.

Prior to 9/11, Americans were like turkeys in July, unaware of the fate destined to befall us. Clueless as to Islam's scripturally mandated intentions, we were the "Neville Chamberlains" of years gone by. Having failed to read Hitler's Mein Kampf, the ignorant Prime Minister appeased evil and enveloped the world in war. Europeans became victims in waiting.

Thanks to Craig Winn, author of the explosive book, Prophet of Doom - Islam's Terrorist Dogma in Muhammad's Own Words, we don't have to make the same mistake again. We can learn why Winston Churchill described Islam's Koran as "the Mein Kampf of War." Focusing exclusively on Muhammad's words and deeds as they are recorded in the Islamic scriptures, Prophet of Doom presents the true face of the terrorist manifesto many have mislabeled a "religion of peace." As one reads the words of the Koran, the Hadith reports from Muhammad and his companions, and the contemporaneous biographies of Muhammad's life called the Sira and Ta'rikh, anyone with an iota of intellectual integrity will have to reject his or her prior brainwashing. One will be able to cut through the fog that has been created from the mouths of politicos and pundits, and come to grips with the fact that Islam is anything but peaceful.

Islam's own scriptures admit that Muhammad was a pedophile (having married 6-year-old Aisha when he was 50), a sexual pervert engaged in incest (having had sex with his son's wife), a multiple rapist (each time he terrorized a community he savaged the most attractive captive), a pirate (the religion was financed by thievery) and a genocidal murderer (Muhammad mutilated and robbed a higher percentage of the Jews within his grasp as did Adolf Hitler). Islam's lone prophet was a terrorist, leading 75 bloody raids against civilians in the first ten years of the Islamic Era. These are just a few of his more endearing attributes.

In the Qur'an's 8th chapter, Islam's own scriptures command Muslims to "Wipe the non-Muslims out to the last." The "Spoils of War" surah says: "Allah has sent you from your homes to fight for the Cause." Islam's god explained: "I shall terrorize the infidels. So smite them on their necks and mutilate every joint, incapacitating them, for they are opposed to Allah and His Apostle." This war manifesto reveals that Allah hates peaceful Muslims as much as he despises non-Muslims: "The infidels will taste the torment of hell. So when you meet them in battle do not retreat, for all who turn away from fighting will bring the wrath of Allah on themselves and their abode will be Hell." The same surah tells us that this Islamic war against all mankind will never end: "So fight them till all opposition ends and Islam is the only religion." And in Islam, Jihad means war; its preferred tactic is terror: "If you meet them in battle, inflict such a defeat as would be a lesson for those who come after them that they may be warned. Surely the infidels cannot get away. Prepare against them whatever arms and weapons you can muster, that you may terrorize them." Islam's dark spirit motivates his murderers with this parting shot, reminiscent of 9/11: "O Prophet urge the faithful to fight. If there are twenty among you with determination they will vanquish two hundred; if there are a hundred then they will kill a thousand infidels, for they are a people devoid of understanding." This is the math of terror. And it is possible because we infidels are ignorant of Islam.

One of Craig Winn's most disturbing chapters is appropriately entitled "Mein Kampf." After detailing one of Muhammad's most brutal and anti-Semitic raids, he methodically juxtaposes the words of Hitler's infamous tome with parallel clauses from Islam. The comparison is bone chilling to say the least.

In order to defeat evil we must first understand and expose it. Evil thrives in darkness, and like the mythological vampire, is vanquished by the light of exposure. At one time in history, J. Edgar Hoover and later, Mario Cuomo, denied the existence of an evil conspiracy known as La Cosa Nostra or Mafia. As long as it was shrouded, the Mafia prospered and grew. The Mafia's "Dunkirk" came when a member of its inner sanctum went public and revealed its true nature. Likewise, we will begin to win our current war against Islam when we accurately identify and then understand the foe that is so committed to our death and destruction. This enemy is not terror. Terror is a tactic and one cannot rationally declare war against a method. Imagine the result if we had defined our enemy in WW II as Blitzkrieg? No, our enemy was Nazism then and it is just a different version of Nazism now; to wit, Islam.

Prophet Of Doom is the best documented, most comprehensive, contextual and chronological presentation of Muhammad's life and Islam's formation. Stroke by stroke, line by line, it connects today's terrorist acts directly to the religious prophet who inspired them. "Criticisms of this work will claim that Prophet of Doom is offensive, racist, perverted, hate mongering, intolerant and unnecessarily violent - I agree but I did not write those parts. They come directly from Islam's scripture. If you don't like what Muhammad and Allah said, don't blame me. I am just the messenger."

Indeed to blame Winn for exposing Islam would be to blame Churchill for exposing Nazism.
