I want Muslims to know what the Sira has to say about Muhammad. I want them to know their prophet as he is presented in the Islamic Hadith. I want them to understand the Qur'an when it's placed in the context of Muhammad's life.

I state my intentions scores of times in Prophet of Doom starting with the "Letter to the Reader" and the "Prologue." I wish to expose Islam for its deception, for its intolerance, and for the violence and terror it inspires. I want Muslims to know what the Islamic Hadith says about Muhammad so that they might be free of Islam.

There are only two reasons 1.2 billion people "believe in" Muhammad. First, not to believe in Muhammad in an Islamic nation is a death sentence. Muhammad and Allah told Muslims to kill anyone who rejects their religion. Second, very few Muslims have ever read Ishaq's Sira. Most Muslims have never read Tabari's History. Most Muslims have never reordered the Qur'an chronologically and set it in the context of Muhammad's life. If they had done any of these three things, they would no longer be Muslims. Instead, most Muslims allow themselves to be duped, literally indoctrinated and then used, by cleric and king.

The character, words, and deeds attributed to Muhammad in the Islamic Hadith Collections are pure evil. According to the only sources of information we have regarding this man and the formation of Islam, Muhammad and the first Muslims were pirates and mercenaries, they were thieves and rapists, They were terrorists. They financed Islam via the slave trade. Muhammad and Allah admitted that their vows and oaths were meaningless. They encouraged deceit and deception. To "believe in" a man and god who brag about terrorizing people, enslaving people, robbing people, and deceiving people, is not wise.

Excerpts from Prophet of Doom

From "Letter To The Reader":

The critics of this work will claim that Prophet of Doom is offensive, racist, hatemongering, intolerant, and unnecessarily violent. I agree - but I didn't write those parts. They came directly from Islam's scriptures. If you don't like what Muhammad and Allah said, don't blame me. I'm just the messenger.

Others will say that I cherry-picked the worst of Islam to render an unfair verdict. They will charge that I took the Islamic scriptures out of context to smear Muhammad and Allah. But none of that is true. Over the course of these pages, I quote from almost every surah in the Qur'an - many are presented in their entirety. But more than that, I put each verse in the context of Muhammad's life, quoting vociferously from the Sunnah as recorded by Bukhari, Muslim, Ishaq, and Tabari - Islam's earliest and more trusted sources. I even arrange all of this material chronologically, from creation to terror.

From the "Prologue":

Criticizing a religion is something that makes people squeamish, especially in the paranoid culture of political correctness. Christians say that we are to love, not judge. Jews, after millennia of persecution, are terrified of even the perception of intolerance. Secular humanists, in deference to multiculturalism and the peace process, have sacrificed truth on the altar of their political agenda. So why upset everyone?

Why? Because they will continue to kill us if we don't expose them.

Before revealing what the Qur'an and Hadith have to say about Muhammad and Islam, I'd like to clear up a few inevitable misconceptions. First, on Muslims - I love you in spite of your beliefs and deeds. I would like nothing more than to free you from Islam. I agree with Renan, the famed scholar, who, after dedicating himself to understanding Islamic scripture, wrote: "Muslims were the first victims of Islam. Many times I have observed in my travels that fanaticism comes from a small number of dangerous men who maintain others in the practice of this religion by terror. To liberate the Muslim from his religion is the best service that one can render him."

Second, on Christians, you - we - are responsible for the awful mess the world is in. We have turned a personal relationship with our Creator into an emasculated religion, confused and aimless. In the name of that religion, we have perpetrated inhumanities. Today, for fear of appearing hateful we are apparently willing to let a billion people live in virtual slavery, perishing in ignorance and poverty. Tolerance of evil is not a Christian virtue. We are called to be discerning.

Third, on Jews - I love you in spite of yourselves. Fourteen centuries ago your forefathers sold Bible stories to Muhammad and then mocked him when he goofed them up. By doing so you manufactured your own enemy. Now, you are a divided people, unsure whether to appease or fight the terror you helped inspire. As the world's most lettered people, I fear that you understand less than you know. I pray that you come to trust your God before it is too late.

Fourth, on secular humanists, liberals, and agnostics - you are guilty of the very things you denounce in others. History is as condemning of man separating himself from God as it is of man-made religions establishing themselves as intermediaries to God. The last hundred years have been especially indicting; atheistic doctrines have annihilated more people than all religions combined. Truth is not relative. Yet in today's media, secular humanists judiciously edit under the guise of enlightenment. While irritating, this practice is particularly lethal as it relates to Islam. The errant recasting of the religion as peaceful, the reshaping of jihad into a spiritual struggle, the impression you convey that Islam is tolerant and that the terrorists have corrupted their religion, is wrong. Thousands have died in the wake of your illusions.

Fifth, on Islam itself - without deceit and sword, Islam would have been stillborn. An infinitesimal fraction of the one billion people subservient to Islam today actually chose their fate. In Mecca, fourteen hundred years ago, after a decade of preaching, as few as fifty men chose to follow Muhammad. But that all changed in Medina. There, according to the Qur'an and Hadith, Muhammad became a political tyrant, a terrorist, and a thief. His willingness to lead seventy-five armed raids against defenseless civilians swelled his ranks as swiftly as the spoils of "war" filled his pockets.

Equipped with booty stolen from others, Muhammad and his followers conquered and then plundered their neighbors, starting with Arabia. The only choice they offered their victims was "your money or your life." Once subjected to their will, Muslims compelled submission under penalty of death. Islam is, and has always been, a doctrine devoid of choice. It prospers at the business end of a bloody sword. Soon you will see why.

The vast preponderance of today's Muslims do not know their prophet or their religion very well. Theirs is a life of ignorance, despair, tyranny, and mind- numbing ritual. They are kept in the dark, purposely deceived, for the benefit of cleric and king. And there is no incentive for them to learn. Exposed to the truth, they would reject Islam, a decision that could cost them their lives. The Qur'an itself confirms this startling reality. In the 5th surah, the final revelation chronologically, Allah ordered Muslims "not to question the Qur'an," for those who did, he said, "discarded their religion." In that light, we should feel good about freeing Muslims from the oppressiveness of Islam. For by freeing them we will free ourselves from the scourge of Islamic terror.

From the "Prologue":

Why are we so afraid to speak the truth? Here's a clue: on top of one of my press releases, a South Palm Beach radio host wrote this note in her prettiest handwriting. "I wouldn't promote your version of Islam even if I was an evangelical Christian on my death bed." Those who are paid to keep us informed have put their popularity and financial well being ahead of saving lives. And while this is symptomatic of why we are ignorant, I don't have a "version" of Islam. The only Islam I know is the one found in the Qur'an, the one preached by the imams and sheiks, the one promoted in the Islamic media, the one presented by the first Muslim scholars Ibn Ishaq and al-Tabari, the one recorded in the Hadith Collections of al-Bukhari and Muslim, the one Muhammad himself lived and taught, the one terrorists like Osama bin Laden practice. It isn't my version of Islam; it's theirs.

How do you suppose Islam could be any different than the religion lived by its sole prophet, Muhammad? How could it differ from the doctrine espoused by its deity, Allah? If Islam's prophet and god got Islam wrong - who, pray tell, has it right? I have no interest in interpreting Islam. I simply want to expose it. I'm a reporter, doing the job the media should have done. And I have a singular motivation. I want to save Muslims from Islam and thereby save Christians and Jews from Muslims.

Yes, I know. Religions are supposed to be good. Most religious prophets are fine fellows, not terrorists, so all of this is a little hard to swallow. But one was a terrorist. Muhammad assassinated more journalists than any modern militant. He financed his religion entirely through piracy and the slave trade. This prophet was a genocidal maniac. Worse still, his "god" condoned terrorism, piracy, plunder, racism, genocide, deception, and assassination. Allah ordered his followers to kill us - and they did. The evidence screams out from the pages of the Qur'an and Hadith Collections of al-Tabari, Ibn Ishaq, al-Bukhari, and Muslim.

The case against Islam is a lay-down hand. The paper trail, their scripture, points directly to Islam's lone prophet. The blood evidence, both fresh and ancient, leads directly to Muhammad. We even have confessions - thousands of them. In the Qur'an, Allah commands Muslims to "wipe the infidels out to the last." Allah isn't the least bit ambiguous. In the Hadith, Muhammad says, "Kill any Jew who falls under your control. Kill them, for he who kills them will get a great reward." Today's terrorists are simply following their religion as it was originally conceived. Confronted with the evidence, one has to commit intellectual suicide to avoid seeing Islam as complicit in terror.

The truth is obvious: the terrorists haven't corrupted their religion. Islam has corrupted them. The murderers are following their prophet's example. And while most Muslims aren't terrorists, all the really good ones are. They haven't corrupted Islam any more than the S.S. corrupted Nazism or the Kamikazes corrupted the culture of Imperial Japan. We have been fighting a war against the symptoms, not the source.

The Nation of Islam has been at war with everyone, including itself, for 1,400 years. You'll see why Muslims celebrate their "victories," no matter how many innocents perish. You'll learn why their state-controlled media promotes terror. You'll know why their state-controlled schools teach hate. It will become evident why imams encourage martyrdom and jihad. And if that were not bad enough, consider this: our oil money pays for it all.

From the "Prologue":

Recognizing that most people don't have the will, time, or means to invest 10,000 hours into the study of Islam, I have done the heavy lifting for you. I have distilled Islam's five earliest books into one. And rather than taking them out of context, I have organized them chronologically and woven them together. You will see Muhammad, Allah, and Islam as they really are. So that there would be no confusion, I printed their words in bold and my comments in standard type. You are free to read their words alone, interpreting them yourself. Or you can see them as I do.

So that you might appreciate the consequence of ignoring Islam, I have included sections comparing the Islamic scriptures to Hitler's Mein Kampf . Formed as a religion to inspire martyrdom, Nazism caused the worst war in human history. Yet apart from time and place, Islam and Nazism are indistinguishable. Quotations from Mein Kampf are italicized so that they might be distinguished from the Islamic scriptures.

As you read Prophet of Doom you will begin to question the validity of the Islamic sources. The Hadith and Qur'an are so errant historically, logically, and scientifically, you'll think that I am quoting from sources hostile to Islam rather than from its most revered scriptures. When you come to that point, I encourage you to visit the "Source Material" appendix. It is a scholarly review of the works that comprise Islam, their inspiration, history, and authority. This analysis will be particularly helpful for Muslims, since their imams have lied to them about the nature of their scriptures.

Most rational men and women will conclude that a god who is principally vengeful, forgetful, contradictory, and irrational might not be a god after all. But why should we care? It's a free world and Muslims are entitled to their beliefs. What's more, Christians at times have behaved no better. Who are we to cast stones? The fact is, Muslims are killing us, and they will continue to kill us until we have the good sense to understand the doctrine that drives them to such behavior. Besides, the Muslim world isn't free. It has never been free.

Okay, so Muslims aren't free. So what? Why are their problems our problems? Because we are free. We have the opportunity and responsibility to diagnose this disease before it consumes our life, liberty, and prosperity as it has theirs. So fasten your seatbelt. It's time to expose Islam.

From the "Epilogue":

While some may venture outside the confines of Political Correctness, most will not. America will indoctrinate another generation of godless, and thus amoral, thoughtless, and directionless people, as has Europe before us. Our culture and economy will suffer. We will be terrorized. And then, like 1930's Germany, we will long for a dictator who will pull us out of the morass - only to find that he will push us into the abyss. After announcing that we have achieved peace in our time, the world will erupt in global war. And all because media darlings and political actors were afraid to step outside the circle. But I have done my part. I have left you without excuse.

Moving on, I'd like to speak to Christians - actually I'd like to wake you up. Speaking of this generation of believers, Yahweh said, "You are neither hot nor cold so I spew you out of my mouth." We've lost our passion, our courage, our faith. Most Christians don't know God's name, much less what He is like or what He wants. And that is why I believe the world is in such a mess. We're in a position to make a difference, but we've been sleeping on the job.

History tell us that bad overwhelms good until good cares. Islam will continue to poison its faithful and deceive its foes until the planet is embroiled in World War. That is what it was born to do. And while we could stop it, we won't All of us could make the right choice; we could discard that which is false and rely on that which is true. But not enough of us are going to make the right call to make a difference.

So why bother? Why did I write, and why did you read, Prophet of Doom ? Because while we collectively will continue to embrace the lie, deny the truth, and march like lemmings toward our doom, all will not jump into the pit. There is salvation, a bridge to paradise, but it's single file. As Christians, it's our job to point as many people as possible in the right direction. And often that means showing them that the direction they are currently going is wrong.

If you have chosen Yahweh, if you know Yahshua personally, you have been given your marching orders. The Third Commandments proclaims: "You shall not nasa (advance or accept) the shem (character or mark) of Yahweh (I Am - the Creator's name) your elohiym (deity) in shav (an evil, destructive, deceptive, or false manner), for Yahweh will not hold him naqah (clean, innocent, or blameless) who nasa (advances or accepts) His shem (character or mark) shav (evilly, destructively, deceptively, or falsely)." You have been instructed to confront Islam, to save Muslims and non-Muslims from it.

What causes you to call one of the most contextual and comprehensive presentations of the five earliest Islamic sources an "uneducated naive view" with "things out of context?" The only view I have provided is the one chronicled in the Qur'an and by the first Islamic scholars: Ishaq, Tabari, Bukhari, and Muslim. What would cause you to criticize me, saying "I would seriously check my sources before putting something like that on the net," when the sole sources for Prophet of Doom are the earliest and most authentic Islamic sources? Would you rather rely on the opinion of an imam than on the actual message contained in the oldest Hadith and Qur'an

I know the answer to these questions. I only wish you and every Muslim on the planet did. The truth would set you free from the deceptive opinions upon which you cling. I understand that it's shocking to see Muhammad, Allah, the Qur'an, Hadith, and Islam presented in such a harsh light. The very idea that you are trusting your soul to a man who, according to his own scriptures, wasn't deserving of your trust, causes you to lash out at me in denial rather than investigate the evidence for yourself.

While I don't yet know you, I'm willing share what I've discovered in the Hadith and Qur'an only because I love you and Yahweh loves you. We want you to know the truth. Once you know it, what you do with it is up to you.

The overwhelming majority of Muslims have never bothered to read the only book written about Muhammad within 200 years of his death--the Sira or Biography by Ibn Ishaq. An infinitesimal percentage of Muslims have read their oldest uncensored chronological collection of Hadith in Tabari's History. They haven't come to grips with the universally accepted topical arrangement of Hadith in Bukhari and Muslim. Moreover, they have never studied the Qur'an in chronological order or set it into the context of the man's life who revealed it. That's astonishing because it means you don't know your prophet or why and how he created Islam. Worse, it means that anyone with an opinion can poison your mind because you lack the evidence needed to refute them. Your soul is worth more than that. Please take responsibility for it. I care more for you than you seem to care for yourself.

If you care enough about your soul and about the nature of truth, prophets, and God to learn and think for yourself, here's what you need to do. First, I want you to check the Islamic archives for religious material. What you'll discover is that everyone recognizes that the oldest surviving record of Muhammad and the formation of Islam was written by Ibn Ishaq. You'll learn that Ishaq's original manuscript has been lost but that Hisham retained much of what he wrote. Unfortunately, according to Hisham, he censored Ishaq a hundred years later because he recognized that much of what was known about Muhammad was unflattering. Sadly, you'll discover that most all of what Hisham left is unflattering too.

Then you'll discover that Tabari had a copy of Ishaq's Sira or Sirat and faithfully reported everything. Therefore, if you want to know how Muhammad saw himself, if you want to know what he did and what he said, you'll need to read Ishaq's and Tabari's chronological collection of Hadith. That is the ONLY way to know him and to understand the formation of Islam--to see it in context and from the viewpoint of the only early sources. Not a single word was written about Muhammad, Mecca, Allah, or Islam by any secular historian or by any Muslim scholar within Islam's first century. All that we know about Muhammad and the creation of the Qur'an is either in Ishaq's Sira, derived from Ishaq's Sira, or deduced from hearsay--oral tradition--over two hundred years removed from Muhammad's death.

So, you can buy those books and read them yourself or you can read them in the combined format of Prophet of Doom. But whatever you do, don't trust this man until you come to know him.

Your next line: "The definition of Islam is simple: Peace and Submission," is accurate so far as it goes. The consonants form the root of the word "peace" in Arabic and when voweled the word means "submission."

Yet judging something by the root of its word is very dangerous. If we were to do that with the root of the word for Jews, for example, we'd prove that Islam's principal claim is a hoax. In Hebrew the word is "Yahudi" which means that they are followers of Yahweh. Since Allah, as it is used in the Qur'an is one of the two personal names of Muhammad's Ilah, Allah cannot be Yahweh. Thus the Qur'an's reliance on the Hebrew Biblical characters confirms Islam's prophet plagiarized his scriptures from the Talmud--a fact that is independently undeniable.

What is important, isn't the root of the word Islam, but instead, Islam's roots. To understand them, you're going to have to read Ishaq's Sira, Tabari's History, Bukhari's Hadith and then reorder the Qur'an chronologically and set it into the context of Muhammad's life. You won't like what you learn but if you have the wisdom and courage to learn it, the reward will be eternal. This is why I put Prophet of Doom online. It's why I offer it to you free. It does what you need to do.

If you were to care as much for you as I care for you, you'd read Prophet of Doom and discover that I didn't deface the name of a great religion. I didn't have to. Muhammad did it for me.

Calling me "dumb" because you are repulsed by the message of the earliest Islamic scholars and deceived by the opinions of today's clerics, is a good thing in a way. It suggests that you are repulsed by terrorism, rape, pedophilia, deceit, assassinations, mass murder, piracy and the slave trade. If you see these things as bad, there is still hope for you. When you discover that Muhammad did all of these things, you'll stop trusting him.

I have dealt with your next excuse in countless emails. You can read them if you wish to be informed or you can see Islam as good because its best behavior taken out of context and revised was better than the worst behavior of others--also taken out of context and revised. But if that's the best you can do, you're wasting your time and your life. You said: "Recall the crusades it was the Christians who attacked the muslims. Your next line draws erroneous conclusions simply because you are unwilling to think out the real reasons behind Islam's growth. To come to that conclusion you must dismiss the fact that Islam was spread with the sword, not scriptures. You must also ignore the facts that most all Islamic nations kill anyone who chooses not to be a Muslim and that there is a population explosion in the Islamic world. In fact, it is a crime in the Islamic word to criticize Muhammad or Islam and thus no one can rationally think there way to it.

The reason I'm so desirous of freeing you from the deceptions that currently poison your mind and damn your soul is your following statement: "And as for the prophet Muhammad (Subhana Watallah) he was a great peaceful guy. In war time he did not slaughter innocent kids and women. He did not destroy many children hospitals and he did not torture the disabled, as some are doing now." You simply don't know your prophet. He was only peaceful twice. He was peaceful before men in Medina pledged to fight for him as he had no way to implement his threat to slaughter his own family and neighbors. And he was peaceful when he lied to the Meccans and signed a treaty not to terrorize them any more. He reneged on that treaty the following year and conquered Mecca with a 10,000 men under arms. Why would you trust a man whose own scriptures say he was willing to lie to achieve his will?

As for killing women and children, you need to read the Hadith. Your view is completely in conflict with what your own scriptures say. If you have to revise Muhammad for him to be worthy, he's not.

It's your choice Wafiullah. You live in "submission" to Muhammad's deception. Or you can read, learn, think, and free yourself from it. I believe that your soul, your life, your mind, is worthy of knowing God--the real God. He loves you, as do I. We want nothing more than for you to know Him. Thank you for emailing me back, I actually appreciate it, though nothing made sense in it. For starters I am not Muslim. I am a professor of religious studies and a PhD in Philosophy. The tricks your using with your writing is quite impressive. Obviously the masses (which are the asses) would fall for everything you say. You use quotations and elegant writing. But real educated people like myself and many more out there will not fall for it "my friend." It is funny I actually thought there was some intelligence to you, until you sent me this email. It made me realize you are one of those door to door Jahova Witness or Morman missionary, that really irritates the mass majority. Well here is what you can do: Continue pursuing your bigotry and your plan to convert everyone into your religion. The religion of peace and good. Christianity and Judaism are both great religions and are religions of the book, but usually a religion is usually defaced by people like you. Saying the Qu'ran is a big fat lie contradicts your very own beliefs. Many of the stories of the Qu'ran are identical to those in the Torah and the bible. If you're so smart, and I'm so tricky, why didn't you provide an impressive array of errors as proof? If you or anyone can demonstrate that there are older and better surviving Islamic sources than the Qur'an, Ishaq, Tabari, Muslim, and Bukhari, and then show how the aforementioned sources could have gotten everything wrong about Muhammad and the formation of Islam, I'll pull the book and write a retraction.

Thank you for demonstrating what Islam does to men. Your note is equal parts ignorant and hateful.

Since the core of Prophet of Doom is nothing more than a presentation of what Muhammad did and said as recorded by the first Muslims, by calling it "disgusting and hateful" you are labeling your Sira, Hadith, Sunnah, and Qur'an "disgusting and hateful." While that's true, it isn't in your interest to make such a claim.

When you said, "We, Muslims, never insult your Prophets or your religion," you demonstrated your ignorance of your scriptures and ours. No book ever written is as hateful and insulting of Christians and Jews as the Qur'an.

Read what Muhammad and Allah had to say about Christians and Jews in the "Muhammad's Own Words" Appendix. Further, the corruption of "our prophets" in the Qur'an, Sira, and Hadith collections is "insulting, disgusting and hateful." Muhammad remade the Hebrew patriarchs and prophets in his own image, corrupting them so that his own immoral, criminal, and violent behavior would appear prophetic by comparison.

As if living on a different planet, you ask and say: "Why don't you people leave us alone? It is people like you who are spreading hate and violence all over the world." What part of the Islamic suicide bombings or 9/11 don't you understand? What part of Allah's orders to "Wipe the infidels out to the last" don't you get? You must have missed the part of the Qur'an in which Allah defines "infidels" as "Christians." (Qur'an 5:72) You must have read right past Qur'an 5:33--the most horrific lines ever attributed to god. I don't suppose you've ever thought about the 3rd surah, the 4th, the 5th, the 8th, the 9th, the 33red, or the 59th. To summarize them as "hateful and violent" would be too kind.

Congratulations. In three sentences you proved that you are deceived, ill-informed, irrational, and deceitful.

First, Muhammad was Allah's Messenger. The Arabic word used throughout the Qur'an for "God" is "Ilah." Allah was the personal name of Muhammad's god.

Second, Allah's spirit reflected Muhammad's character and Satan's nature. So if you are looking for a Satanic agenda, you'll find it in Islam. Muhammad himself, claimed to have been demon possessed. According to the Qur'an, the eye witnesses, those who knew him better than anyone today, agreed. Muhammad's family and neighbors routinely claimed that he was possessed. What's more, Muhammad even claims to have spoken for Satan--something the Qur'an confirms.

Yahweh, the God of the Bible, is my God. Allah and Yahweh are opposites as are their scriptures and the paths to them.

Third, Muhammad wasn't a prophet because he didn't issue a single prophecy that has come true. The fact that he performed no miracles and issued no prophecies would cause the rational thinker to question his validity of his revelation.

Fourth, the fact that Muhammad falsely claimed that his Qur'an confirmed the Torah when its message differs on every page, proves that he was a liar--a deceitful spirit. The fact that Muhammad's Qur'anic revelations justified genocide against the Jews of Medina and then justified stealing their homes, property, women and children further demonstrates that the Torah and Qur'an could not have been inspired by the same God.

Fifth, nothing says "agenda" better than the Sira--Ishaq's biography of Muhammad that was comprised of the earliest Hadith. If you had read the Sira you would have known that Muhammad was a motivated by sex, power and money. According to the Islamic Hadith, Muhammad was a pirate, not a prophet. According to the Sira, which was the only book written about Muhammad within 200 years of his death, this "prophet" was a pedophile, a rapist, an assassin, a terrorist, a slave trader, a thief, and a war-mongering warlord. You don't find many of those in religious circles.

Sixth, as for Christ, I work for him. Muhammad worked against him. Muhammad and his imaginary friend Allah, disclaimed Christ's sacrifice on the cross, yet it was the centerpiece of his mission. Since Muslims see sacrifice like most pagans--as a way to please their god, rather than as an atone for sin--they don't understand the significance. You ought to read the essays in the Resources section of the site under Cain. Moreover, Muhammad's Qur'an denies the deity of Christ and thus it rejects the central core of the Gospels which it claims to confirm. Those things would make Muhammad the model for the Anti-Christ.

Seventh, I have had a half dozen Muslims call the translations used in Prophet of Doom "false" as if there were a "non-false" translation. The fact is the Qur'an is so poorly written, scholars have to guess as to what Muhammad was trying to say. The most esteemed scholar studying the oldest fragments says: "One out of every five Qur'an passages is unintelligible and cannot be understood, much less translated." There are missing words and meaningless words. In fact, most of the important words and names come from rabbinic Hebrew and Christian Syriac, and thus cannot be translated without expertise in languages other than Arabic. But the Qur'an's biggest liability is that it is chaotic. There is no context or chronology--thus making it a garbled mess. There are dozens of Qur'an translations because no one really knows what it says. To appreciate the actual nature of the Qur'an, you out to read the scholarly assessment in the Appendix of Prophet of Doom called "Islam's Dark Past."

Each time I have been challenged on this topic I have copied the specific translations from Ahmed Ali, Pikthal, Noble by Muhsin Khan, Yusuf Ali, or Shakir. I have demonstrated how the translations used in Prophet of Doom are nothing more than a blending of these translations with an assist from Ishaq and Tabari. No one has ever shown that a single translation was thus "false" as you assert. If you want to try, be my guest. But start at the beginning and use the Qur'an passages that are revealed in each of Prophet of Doom's 25 chapters.

Since most critics of Prophet of Doom, don't read before they attack, I have copied introductory statements in the book which say: "When quoting from the Qur'an and Hadith, I have elected to use a blended translation. Eighth, your "out-of-context quotations" line is especially lame. There is only four types of context and I observe all four in Prophet of Doom. First, and most important there is the context of chronology. The Qur'an lacks this so I provide it via the Sira. I have ordered the surahs in the order they were revealed. Second, there is the context of place, people, circumstance, and time. The Qur'an lacks this too, so I provide it via the Islamic Hadith. This is especially revealing as the Qur'an set into the context of Muhammad's life is disgusting. Third, there is the minor context of adjacency. The Qur'an jumps from topic to topic without intelligent transitions within surahs and between surahs so it lacks this form of context as well. But I elected to present most every verse of most every surah in Prophet of Doom, so I have maintained the adjacency context, too. And fourth, there is the context of topic. Not surprisingly, the Qur'an lacks this form of context as well. It is not ordered by subject. So, to help folks understand what Muhammad had to say about topics like Jihad, terrorism, deception, intolerance, thievery, murder, science, Christians, and Jews, I created a topical appendix at the end of the book and arranged the most important 2000 Muhammad and Allah quotes by subject.

Ninth, your charge that "You have thrown lies, false translations, out-of-context quotations, etc. to create your fraudulent argument against Muhammad," is untrue in every way, including the last. This proves that your allegation was not true, yet you make no attempt to refute any of it. If you know of an older source, share it. If not, deal with what the Hadith chronicled by Ishaq, Tabari, Bukhari, and Muslim actually say.

Because Allah afflicted Eve, all of the women of this world menstruate and are stupid." And indeed it is stupid to defend such nonsense.

In a perverted man's world, polygamy rules: Qur'an 4:3 "If you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with orphans, marry women of your choice who seem good to you, two or three or four; but if you fear that you shall not be able to do justice (to so many), then only one, or (a slave) that you possess, that will be more suitable. And give the women their dower as a free gift; but if they, of their own good pleasure, remit any part of it to you, eat it with enjoyment, take it with right good cheer and absorb it (in your wealth)." Qur'an 4:11 "Allah directs you in regard of your Children's (inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females… These are settled portions ordained by Allah." Like I said, Allah thinks your worth half a man.

Bukhari:V1B22N28 "The Prophet said: 'I was shown the Hell Fire and the majority of its dwellers were women who are disbelievers or ungrateful.' When asked what they were ungrateful for, the Prophet answered, 'All the favors done for them by their husbands.'" Yes, Islam has a special place for women.

By way of confirmation and amplification: Muslim:B1N142 "'O womenfolk, you should ask for forgiveness for I saw you in bulk amongst the dwellers of Hell.' A wise lady said: Why is it, Allah's Apostle, that women comprise the bulk of the inhabitants of Hell? The Prophet observed: 'You curse too much and are ungrateful to your spouses. You lack common sense, fail in religion and rob the wisdom of the wise.' Upon this the woman remarked: What is wrong with our common sense? The Prophet replied, 'Your lack of common sense can be determined from the fact that the evidence of two women is equal to one man. That is a proof.'" How can a woman read such offensive and erroneous material and call me hateful? There is something genuinely hateful here and it's Muhammad, Allah and Islam.

Qur'an 4:43 "Believers, approach not prayers with a mind befogged or intoxicated until you understand what you utter. Nor when you are polluted, until after you have bathed. If you are ill, or on a journey, or come from answering the call of nature, or you have touched a woman, and you find no water, then take for yourselves clean dirt, and rub your faces and hands. Lo! Allah is Benign, Forgiving." The Qur'an claims women are unclean and polluted - worse than dirt. I'm sure you noticed there is no requirement for washing if a woman touches a man.

Bukhari:V4B55N547 "The Prophet said, 'But for the Israelis, meat would not decay, and if it were not for Eve, wives would never betray their husbands. '" In actuality, it is Muhammad who has betrayed you. Qur'an 33:59 "Prophet! Tell your wives and daughters and all Muslim women to draw cloaks and veils all over their bodies (screening themselves completely except for one or two eyes to see the way). That will be better." Better for whom--the women who are discriminated against?

Qur'an 4:15 "If any of your women are guilty of lewdness, take the evidence of four witnesses from amongst you against them; if they testify, confine them to houses until death [by starvation] claims them." That's nice.

Bukhari:V4B52N143/V5B59N523 "When we reached Khaybar, Muhammad said that Allah had enabled him to conquer them. It was then that the beauty of Safiyah was described to him. Her husband had been killed, so Allah's Apostle selected her for himself. He took her along with him till we reached a place called Sad where her menses were over and he took her for his wife, consummating his marriage to her, and forcing her to wear the veil.'" Involuntary sex is rape. You must be proud to follow a prophet who was a rapist. And this story is but one of three rapes chronicled in the Hadith.

Bukhari:V5B59N524 "The Muslims said among themselves, 'Will Safiyah be one of the Prophet's wives or just a lady captive and one of his possessions?'" Ishaq:593 "From the captives of Hunayn, Allah's Messenger gave [his son-in-law] Ali a slave girl called Baytab and he gave [future Caliph] Uthman a slave girl called Zaynab and [future Caliph] Umar another." Islam is little more than the quest for sex, money and power.

Bukhari:V3B48N826 "The Prophet said, 'Isn't the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?' The women said, 'Yes.' He said, 'This is because of the deficiency of a woman's mind.'" This is so very sad. I feel sorry for you and for every Muslim woman. It's a crying shame.

Ishaq:584 "Tell the men with you who have wives: never trust a woman." Ishaq:185 "In hell I saw women hanging by their breasts. They had fathered bastards." Qur'an 24:34 "Force not your slave-girls to whoredom (prostitution) if they desire chastity, that you may seek enjoyment of this life. [And here's the freedom-to-pimp card:] But if anyone forces them, then after such compulsion, Allah is oft-forgiving." Ishaq:469 "The Apostle said, 'Every wailing woman lies except those who wept for Sa'd.'" Tabari VIII:62/Ishaq:496 "Ali [Muhammad's adopted son, son-in-law, and future Caliph] said, 'Prophet, women are plentiful. You can get a replacement, easily changing one for another.'" That is why Muhammad and Allah think so little of you.

Ishaq:496 "Ask the slave girl; she will tell you the truth.' So the Apostle called Burayra to ask her. Ali got up and gave her a violent beating first, saying, 'Tell the Apostle the truth.'" And women are still beaten throughout the Islamic world.

Your next point is completely inconsistent with the Qur'an, Hadith, and history. "2 - You don't have to liberate me, I was born liberated by the Grace of God. You better liberate your own people!" If you think that any of this is about liberation you need a dictionary.

Now as for Grace, it is Allah who needs a dictionary. To be graceful, Allah wants you to sacrifice your money and your life. That makes you the one who gives. He wants you to die fighting for him. In Christianity, Yahweh sacrificed himself. He is the one who gives because grace is an undeserved reward or gift.

Here is how grace actually works: Centuries before Christ came into our world in the form of a man, Isaiah wrote: "All of us like sheep have gone astray. Each has turned to his own way. But Yahweh has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him. He was pierced for our transgressions and by his scourging we are healed. He Himself bore the sin of many, and interceded [became a bridge] for our transgressions." Yahweh told us how He was going to solve the problem of sin; how He was going to build a bridge from our polluted world to His perfect one. He said that He would sacrifice Himself for our iniquity. The bridge is His gift to us.

Paul, centuries later, in his letter to the Ephesians wrote: "You were dead in your trespasses and sins in which you did according to Satan and his spirit working through the sons of disobedience. Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the world and of our mind. But Yahweh, being rich in mercy, and because of His great love for us, made us alive together with Christ. By grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not as a result of works that no one should boast. By the blood of Yahshua, the Messiah, we have been brought near Yahweh."

John, the most passionate of Christ's disciples, composed these stirring words: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. Whoever receives Him, He gives the right to become His children, even to those who believe in Him. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is no longer judged."

Therefore, according to the Bible, there is no day of judgment for those washed by Christ's blood. There are no rituals that earn passage on his bridge - one built entirely out of the timbers upon which He hung. There are no taxes, no tolls, no devotional obligations, no pilgrimages, or prayer performances. Your salvation isn't dependent upon the submission to, or acknowledgement of, any prophet. Fear and fighting have no role. A simple "I do" will suffice. Yahshua said, "I am the way the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father but by me." He sacrificed himself so that your sins would all be forgiven, abrogated, in Islamic parlance. His blood on the cross of history, at the crossroads of civilization, frees you to enter a personal and eternal relationship with Yahweh in paradise.

To cross that bridge, you don't need to get on your knees, close your eyes, bring your hands together, bow your head, or face Jerusalem. You do, however, need to make a choice.

There is nothing in the Bible which encourages sexual perversion. Those who partake are condemned. The same cannot be said for Islam. Muhammad was a pedophile, he was incestuous, a rapist, and a womanizer. I encourage you to read the beginning of the Pedophile Pirate chapter. While it's revolting, it may serve to open your eyes. Yet there is a bigger point to be made here.

Unable to defend your own religion, unable to defend the immorality of your prophet, you try to deflect attention away from it and him by suggesting that an infinitesimally small percentage of westerners are perverted. While it's true, they unlike Muhammad didn't make up scripture, didn't claim to be prophets, and they didn't tell anyone to follow their example.

Why don't you try to explain all of these away. Every surah reference quoted above is presented in the context of the surrounding verses and in the context of what the Hadith says about Muhammad's life in Prophet of Doom. If you have the courage and wisdom to read it, you will find the courage and wisdom to flee this disgusting man and his repulsive religion.

Don't bother. First, it's your soul, not Zaker's. Show some initiative, take some responsibility. Either read the source material independently, or read it in Prophet of Doom, but for heaven's sake, read. I am appalled by the willingness of Muslims to lash out without first learning--to criticize without first reading. You are deceived because you allow yourself to be deceived.

Second, I'll debate any Muslim cleric or scholar online, on the radio, or on television. Better yet, why not have Islamic scholars refute the Islamic sources presented in Prophet of Doom. That ought to be interesting because to do so, they will have to call their prophet and god liars.

But, I will not debate in person. Muslims have proved that they cannot be trusted. I have watched video tapes of conferences like the one you suggest. The audience, which is almost always all Islamic, is universally rude. They come to taunt, not to learn. So it's a waste of time. But that's not the biggest problem. Each debate I have witnessed ended violently. Muslims in the audience came at the presenters with knives and batons--beating and stabbing them. Today's Muslims emulate their prophet's character, they follow his example of assassination and brutality. There is a reason "BH" just gave up. She can't win, nor can any Muslim. Islam is indefensible. It is a lose-lose game. Here is why:

The entire credibility of the Qur'an rests on Muhammad's testimony. He is the only person who heard the angel reciting or the bell ringing in his head. If his character cannot be established as being trustworthy, his "scripture" is worthless. Yet the only account of Muhammad's life written within 200 years of his death is Ibn Ishaq's Sira. Its biographical portrayal of Muhammad's deeds, words, and character prove that he was not worthy of anyone's trust. Islamic scholar Dr. D.S. Margoliouth sums up the depiction of Muhammad in Ishaq's Sira as follows: "The character attributed to Muhammad in the biography of Ibn Ishaq is exceedingly unfavorable. In order to gain his ends Muhammad recoils from no expedient, and he approves of similar unscrupulousness on the part of his adherents, when exercised in his interest. He organizes assassinations and wholesale massacres. His career as the tyrant of Medina is that of a robber chief whose political economy consists of securing and dividing plunder. He is himself an unbridled libertine [morally or sexually unrestrained] and encourages the same passion in his followers. For whatever he does he is prepared to plead the express authorization of his deity. It is, however, impossible to find any Islamic religious doctrine which he is not prepared to abandon in order to secure a political end. At different points in his career he abandons the unity of God and his claim to the title of Prophet. This is a disagreeable picture for the founder of a religion, and it cannot be pleaded that it is a picture drawn by an enemy."

But don't take his word for it. Read the Sira and other Hadith collections yourself. The documented references in Prophet of Doom were derived from English translations of the following ancient Islamic manuscripts. I encourage you to purchase and read them. The Sirat Rasul Allah was written by Ibn Ishaq in 750 A.D. It was edited and abridged by Ibn Hisham in 830 and translated by Alfred Guillaume under the title, The Life of Muhammad in 1955 by Oxford Press. The History of al-Tabari was written by Abu Muhammad bin al-Tabari between 870 and 920 A.D. His monumental work was translated and published in 1987 through 1997 by the State University of New York Press. I quote from volumes I, II, VI, VII, VIII, and IX. Al-Bukhari's Hadith, titled: Sahih Al-Bukhari and The True Traditions was collected by Imam Bukhari in 850 A.D. I have used the collector's original nomenclature because the only printed English translation (Publisher-Maktaba Dar-us-Salam, Translator-Muhammad Khan) was abridged and erroneously numbered. Finally, I recommend that you acquire at least three of the following Qur'an translations: Ahmed Ali, Pikthal, Noble by Muhsin Khan, Yusuf Ali, or Shakir. The oldest Qur'an fragments date to around 725 A.D. - a century after they were first recited. A link has been provided at ProphetOfDoom.net to each of these sites for your convenience.

When a Muslim says, "Don't be misguided by Craig and his biased book," they are in essence saying that the Qur'an surahs and the Hadith from Muhammad's companions that Ishaq, Tabari, Bukhari and Muslim relied upon, were biased since Prophet of Doom is simply a presentation of and commentary on these materials. If they do not represent "true Islam," what does?

The undeniable fact is they, and only they, represent true Islam. Muhammad was Allah's lone voice and Islam's sole founder. As such, Allah and Islam must be as he claims. That is why Prophet of Doom presents over 80% of the historical Hadith, and why it uses them to give the Qur'an the context and chronology it otherwise lacks. Since most Muslims have never read the original sources, and since very few Muslims have bothered to read the Qur'an set in the context of Muhammad's life, they are startled by what their own scriptures reveal. They are repulsed by the truth. And unable to refute the Qur'an and Hadith without calling their prophet and god a liar, they give up, deny the source material, and lash out at me.

Hopefully, a few Muslims will take responsibility for their own souls. Hopefully, a few Muslims will read the Hadith collected by Ishaq, Tabari, Bukhari, and Muslim and come to terms with the evil nature of their prophet. Hopefully, a few Muslims will read the Qur'an in the order it was revealed and contemplate it's obvious lack of divine inspiration when placed into the context of Muhammad's despicable life. Hopefully, a few Muslims will use their minds, their "scriptures," history, and reason to free themselves from the deception of Islam. Thankfully, some already have, so my prayer is that a few becomes many.

The truth is irrefutable. The Muhammad of Islam must be as demonic, sadistic, murderous, immoral, and criminal as the Hadith collected by Ishaq, Tabari, Bukhari, and Muslim present him as he is completely unknown to history. There are no earlier or more authentic sources than these which were written by the earliest Islamic scholars. While every Hadith and Qur'an surah is based entirely upon the verbal testimony of the prophet's companions, if they cannot be trusted there is nothing left to trust.

The only attempts Islamic scholars make to side-step this fatal problem is to say that I have pulled Hadith and Qur'an verses out of context and that some Hadith aren't approved and acceptable. First, the chronological presentation of Hadith and surahs in Prophet of Doom is more contextual than the Islamic sources themselves. So that argument is nonsense. And the second defense won't fly either as the most damning Hadith are found in multiple sources and they are verified in the Qur'an. Such examples are: the Satanic Verses which resulted from covetous desires, the Night's Journey to the nonexistent temple, the accusations that Muhammad was a demon-possessed madman plagiarizing the Qur'an, that Qur'anic scripture was purchased from the Jews, that two Jewish settlements were terrorized and robbed by Muhammad with one ending in mass murder, rape, and the enslavement of children, that Muhammad went to Badr as a pirate, not a prophet, and that Muhammad attacked Christians for no reason other than he craved their money. If the Hadith that present these events are not acceptable then the Qur'an which verifies them isn't acceptable. Further, why would a Muslim trust a contemporary scholar's opinion of what is and is not reliable over the judgment of the first Islamic scholars--Ishaq, Tabari, and Bukhari--the very men who preserved that which modern apologists are evaluating?

There is an equally serious problem with Islam that errant dogma tries to hide. Muslims are told that the Qur'an is a perfect book, directly from God, precisely as He dictated it to Muhammad. Yet that's impossible for a thousand reasons. The most glaring proofs are as follows: The Religious Arabic of the first Qur'ans were unpointed. Therefore, there was no way to distinguish a "j" or "h" from a "k", a "q" from a "f", a "b" from a "t", a "z" from a "r", or a "s" or "d" from a "sh" or "dh". Short vowels were nonexistent and many long vowels were unknown. With half of the alphabet in question, scribes in Baghdad a hundred years after Muhammad's first verbal recitals had to do an enormous amount of guessing. And that would explain the second problem--the oldest Qur'an fragments don't match today's text.

Third, the Hadith depiction of the Qur'an's collection is hopelessly garbled and contradictory. And even then, there is no evidence that any of these scenarios occurred.

Fourth, the oldest Qur'an fragments date to a century after the first recital and thus there is nothing other than hearsay to connect them to Muhammad. And there are many Hadith that show Muhammad himself forgot Qur'an verses and that his followers were conflicted as well. It's devastating to Islam that Muhammad treated his Qur'anic legacy with such disregard--never bothering to write it down or collect it into a book.

Fifth, the leading authority on the initial script of the Qur'an, studying the oldest fragments says: "One out of every five verses is indecipherable - meaningless in any language." That is why Islamic clerics don't want the Qur'an translated out of Religious Arabic, a language an infinitesimal percentage people--even Muslims--understand. The more one knows the worse it gets.

Sixth, there are an overwhelming number of historical and scientific errors in the Qur'an.

Seventh, the Qur'an's claim that it confirms the Torah and Gospels is impossible, since they differ in most every way on most every page. Even the Qur'an's corruption theory was proven errant by the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Eighth, there are countless examples of Muhammad plagiarizing his text directly out of uninspired Jewish legends--in particular the Talmud, Midrash, and Mishna.

Ninth, the Qur'an's most important terms are presented in Rabbinical Hebrew and Syrian Christian words, not Arabic.

Tenth, the Qur'an is very poorly written. It lacks order, transitions, chronology, and context. The spirit who inspired the Qur'an could not have created the universe.

Eleventh, the character attributed to Allah in the Qur'an is devilish, as are Allah's oaths, orders, and occupation.

Twelfth, the Qur'an's message is overwhelmingly hateful, violent, warlike, intolerant, and sadistic. Allah's book promotes everything the Ten Commandments denounce.

Thirteenth, much of the Qur'an served only to excuse and promote Muhammad's criminal and immoral behavior. When he wants to kill his kin, Allah approves slaughter. When Muhammad wants to steal, the Qur'an approves booty. When he wants to capture and sell slaves to finance his war machine, Allah condones slavery. When Islam's prophet wants to fight, Allah focuses on glorifying fighting--calling it the best deed. When Muhammad wants his son's wife, there is a Qur'anic surah dedicated to approving incest. Fourteenth, there are no miracles nor any accurate prophetic utterances in the Qur'an--and therefore no evidence whatsoever that it was inspired. Moreover, desperate to demonstrate his existence and power, Allah errantly claims credit for Muhammad's deeds and for Yahweh's miracles. And fifteenth, the Qur'an is so full of contradictions it contains verses that excuse them. Each of these points, as well as many others, are proven conclusively in Prophet of Doom and in its Source Material Appendix.

Because of the Qur'an's deficiency in context and chronology, it cannot be translated, interpreted, understood, or followed without resorting to the Hadith collections of Ishaq, Tabari, Bukhari, and Muslim. There are so many missing words, meaningless words, foreign words, unidentified subjects and modifiers, both translator and interpreter require additional sources. Moreover, unlike any rational book ever written, the Qur'an has no sense of order. It's a jumbled and incoherent mess. Without the chronological Hadith collections of Ishaq and Tabari, it cannot be arranged in the order it was revealed and thus the verse that excuses contradictions and mixed messages (2:106), cannot be applied as one would not know which verses to abrogate. Without Ishaq and Tabari no Muslim would be able to follow Muhammad's example as the 33rd surah requires. Muhammad's Sunnah would be unknown apart from the contextual and historical presentation of Hadith. Moreover, without the four earliest Hadith collections, the Qur'an incessant demand that Muslims follow Muhammad's orders would be impossible. Since the Qur'an only contains Allah's commands, Muhammad's orders can only be found in the Hadith.

Worse still, Islam cannot be practiced without the Hadith collections of Ishaq, Tabari, Bukhari, and Muslim because they not only provide its Five Pillars, they alone define them. To prove this point, I'd like to review Islam's Five Pillars to demonstrate that they don't stand without the Hadith Collections found in the Sunnah. But before we begin, Islam provides an important clue. To find the Pillars, we must turn to the Hadith, not the Qur'an. And while I will conduct this analysis using the "approved" version of Islam's Five Pillars, there are competing scenarios we must consider. Muhammad couldn't decide what his priorities were - much less Allah's.

The most famous Islamic proclamations echo the Qur'an's incessant command to fight jihad in Allah's Cause. Muhammad established jihad's preeminence, claiming that fighting was the foundation upon which Islam's other pillars must stand. Under the title "Fighting In Allah's Cause - Jihad," we read: "Jihad is holy fighting in Allah's Cause with full force of numbers and weaponry. It is given the utmost importance in Islam and is one of its pillars. By Jihad Islam is established, Allah's Word is made superior (which means only Allah has the right to be worshiped), and Islam is propagated. By abandoning Jihad Islam is destroyed and Muslims fall into an inferior position; their honor is lost, their lands are stolen, their rule and authority vanish. Jihad is an obligatory duty in Islam on every Muslim. He who tries to escape from this duty, or does not fulfill this duty, dies with one of the qualities of a hypocrite."

The reason jihad supersedes the other pillars is because: Bukhari:V4B52N44 "A man came to Allah's Apostle and said, 'Instruct me as to such a deed as equals Jihad in reward.' He replied, 'I do not find such a deed. Can you, while the Muslim fighter has gone out for Jihad, enter a mosque to perform prayers without ceasing and fast forever?' The man said, 'No one can do that.'" So Jihad is superior to endless prayer and fasting. But there was more:Bukhari:V4B52N46 "I heard Allah's Apostle saying, 'The example of a Mujahid [Muslim fighter] in Allah's Cause - and Allah knows best who really strives in His Cause - is like a person who fasts and prays without ever stopping. Allah guarantees that He will admit the Mujahid in His Cause into Paradise if he is killed, otherwise He will return him to his home safely with rewards and war booty.'" It's the Devil's rendition of the win-win scenario. And that leads us to the capper, the line that confirmed jihad was better than all of the Five Pillars combined: Bukhari:V4B52N50 "The Prophet said, 'A single endeavor of fighting in Allah's Cause is better than the world and whatever is in it.'"

From the very beginning, there was always a direct causal link between the religion of Islam and Islamic terror:Bukhari:V4B52N63 "A man whose face was covered with an iron mask of armor came to the Prophet and said, 'Allah's Apostle! Shall I fight or embrace Islam first?' The Prophet said, 'Embrace Islam first and then fight.' So he embraced Islam, and was martyred. Allah's Apostle said, 'A Little work, but a great reward.'" Consistent with this message,Bukhari:V1B2N25 "Allah's Apostle was asked, 'What is the best deed?' He replied, 'To believe in Allah and His Apostle Muhammad.' The questioner then asked, 'What is the next (in goodness)?' He replied, 'To participate in Jihad (religious fighting) in Allah's Cause.' The questioner again asked, 'What is the next (in goodness)?' He replied, 'To perform Hajj (Pilgrim age to Mecca in accordance with the Traditions of the Prophet.'" This is important because it establishes Three Pillars, with Jihad being the second most important.

The next rendition of Pillars eliminates the Hajj, which was number three above, and replaces it with the Khumus - Muhammad's share of stolen booty.Bukhari:V1B2N50 "They said, 'O Allah's Apostle, order us to do some religious deeds that we may enter Paradise.' The Prophet ordered them to believe in Allah Alone and asked them, 'Do you know what is meant by believing in Allah Alone?' They replied, 'Allah and His Apostle know better.' Thereupon the Prophet said, 'It means: 1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Apostle. 2. To offer prayers perfectly. 3. To pay the Zakat obligatory tax. 4. To observe fast during Ramadan. 5. And to pay the Khumus (one fifth of the booty to be given in Allah's Cause) to Allah's Apostle.'"

That said, I promised to resolve Islam's absolute reliance on the Sunnah by analyzing the "officially recognized" Pillars. To begin:Bukhari:V1B2N7 "Allah's Apostle said: 'Islam is based on (the following) five (principles): 1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Apostle.'" Let's tackle them one at a time. In its present order, the Qur'an's initial surah, the 2nd, (the 1st is an invocation, not a revelation as it speaks to god not to man) makes a transition from Ar-Rahman to Allah. But as we read on, this changes. The Qur'anic God becomes Ar-Rahman again and then a nameless Lord. Without the chronology the Sira's Hadith provide, Muslims don't know who God is or how many of them there are. Furthermore, they know nothing about the "Apostle." Without the Sunnah, acknowledging him in the profession of faith is like a tape recorder asking to be credited for bringing you the songs of your favorite artist.

But it gets worse. The Qur'an orders Muslims to obey the Messenger. If you don't know what he said that's impossible. The Qur'an alleges that it's entirely composed of Allah's orders, not Muhammad's, so you'd be out of luck. The Qur'an also tells Muslims that they must follow the Messenger's example, yet the only place that example is established is in the Sunnah. Therefore, Islam's First Pillar is utterly meaningless, and impossible to implement, without Ishaq and Tabari.
